Don't sell the RF35, just save some money and buy just a used RC35, you'd regret selling the RF's, they are pretty good speakers. I wanted to get some RB myself when i started my system but when i calculated the cost of adding a stand, it almost matched the price of a full size speaker. You will lose money selling the RF's.

Hi Guys, While the RC64 is getting all these mad-raving and amazing reviews, is it worth upgrading from the RC7 to the RC64. I currrently have the RF7, RC7, RF35 and AVR 3805 setup. I recently just had the chance to see and listen what was the RC64 all about. In the listening room, it was i must say very impressive, the setup was RF83, RC64 and RS62 i think and i was blowned away. It's probably due to the room, the equipments they were using and proper setup. I spoke to the sales person and he was telling me that the RC64 was a better centre than the RC7 and that upgrading would be a good idea. I would be trading in my RC7 and add some more money to get the RC64. While on the other hand i spoke to another dealer and he was telling me that the RC7 is a lot better. Well, i know my RC7 sounds really good but is there a big comparison with the RC64. The first Sales person think that the RC64 is a better match with the RF7's. Can that be true? What are the factors i need to decide upon? I heard about better transition, what does that mean. And how about the horn size of the RF7 and RC7, they are the same size does that need to be the same? WHy do you think he is telling me that RC64 is better with RF7?

The Martin Logan Descent is a very clean sounding sub, I tried it for a while before deciding to buy the king of all micro subs (Sunfire sig eq) The Martin Logan is $2500 more expensive than the Sigs.. here in Australia... I'd still want to own it one day.

Hi, Have anyone heard of this XLO Test and Burn in CD, apparently it helps burn in new system, right, but .. demagnetise exixting system.. and makes it sound better.. ?? How could that be..? I think, now is a good time to spend $4000 - 5000 on HTPC, they are worth it. I've seen some really amazing setup around, and i don't think there is any overkill, they performs just as good as real HT gears.. { almost !!} Don't forget to add the X-Fi elite Pro and the "HT" reveicer that you want... It will be fun.. Some of the games that's out there deserve those big impact sound ... and u get them only from high end sub.. i say go crazy and experience..

Does it mean that we can't change the Eq setting of this sub?? "5 preset eq" settings.. , i don't like the grill too much too... but i think i will be getting one as soon as a 240 version comes to Australia.... oh yeah.. a cherry one 12"

[]hahaha CAS, Toddvj, What would you say the difference is in sound quality between a RSW 12 and a RSW 15, because unfortunately here we don't get RSW 15 because there is no 240v version made.. If there is just a minim difference then i might consider getting one just for aestetics to complete the cherry in my system,..

How does it sound, what kind of sound would we expect, is it as good and clean as the RSW's or as the SVS etc.. How can it be so good.. with one 12" driver and clever designed.. is it really possible. For $3000 this sounds like a bargain and many companies even SVS should be worried don't u think.. most of us here are bass freak.. size doesn't matter that much.. for some.. need to consider WAF too.. But what if you had the space.. would you consider getting one vs lets say 2x SVS Ultra's .. what do u guys think.. ?

I had the same issue with the ipod before too, i think that it just sounds bad.. i have tried changing to so many high end earphones and headphones.., amps and external equaliser.. but it's still crap.. Try the Iriver's and the creative's or sony before buying the ipod.. my best advice.. I have a sony MD which is about 7 or 8 yrs old and it sounds a lot better.. much more clarity, better bass, better trebles .. perfect.. Never had a problem with it.. the battery is still going as new.. i charge it for only 30mins or so and i cam play for days.. the ipod on the other hand have a very doggy battery.. need to charge for at least 4 hrs for a full charge.. and it plays for only about 5-6 hrs .. it crashes a lot, i had mine replaced twice already.. and all my friends have the same problems.. Dude .. Just a shame for the ipod.. but instead everybody have one.. like smoking cigarettes.. i have one tooo... and i use it everyday..

I payed $750 for the RW 12 at Klapp Audio electronics in Melbourne, and the RSW 12 is only $2450.. your dealer is too overpriced..

I could not hear a difference from the RW 12 to the RSW 12 at all, pricewise i went with the RW12 same reason as you (building a small setup for my bedroom). I did underestimate the size of that thing, i hardly managed to to find a suitable place for it, and the bass... simply stunning for a bedroom.. it will definitely rock you... as for the RSW 12 i'm am sure it will too.. for me the RSW was just better finish/wood. On the other hand, you cannot compare the sound of the rw12 to my Sunfire Sig eq, i tried it in the bedroom, and it rattled everything... the size is perfect.. but the price.. specially in Australia.. $5500.. so it goes back in the HT.

Few months ago i was gonna buy, a pair of KW-120 and the Amp, because i had some money to blow... but i could not... we won't be getting any Klipsch Thx here in Australia... , so i just wasted the money on garbage.. i don't even know what.. I can understand.. it's hard to get them to Australia.. ok.. but CANADA... i am surprised.. Why??? SVS is ready to send me a pair of PB Ultra's.. and i really looking into it.. How can SVS can send it .. but not Klipsch... Anyway.. i respect SVS for that although i don't own any yet... but i will surely ..in the future.. and i have heard... raving reviews from every part of the world...

I just got those pics from somewhere on the internet... and indeed these are some huge speakers, that velo is a monster sub.. i wonder how it sounds.. does it punch holes into walls..??

Hey guys I have the answer, i know why he did this, i always do this to my friends too, i tell them that some crappy brands are good when in fact don't like them at all, then after they buy the crappy Bose, or Teac Sub or Wintel what ever, i go to their place very happily, let's test your wonderful system, OOhhh , Waaaoww, sounds so good, mine is not so good i bought from china $2.50/Kg... see that's it.. He probably earned enough money from Sony Corp and could now afford to buy Velodyne 1810, and Wilson Audio like this one ... here
