<GONE> Pick Up only. Washington DC. H/K 930, Scott 222C <GONE>
tigerwoodKhorns replied to flatgrass's topic in Garage Sale
Oh man, I am so sorry!!! The pic looks like a ding. I thought that this was my old unit. In any event, if I were local I would have been there in a minute with five crisp $100 bills and saying thank you for both of these. I can't believe that someone has not jumped on this. To anyone near the seller, get over there and buy these! Fantastic deal. -
Possible 1967 KHorn purchase
tigerwoodKhorns replied to Oldgoat912's topic in Technical/Restorations
Keep the Cornwalls as you will regret selling speaker that you have had for so long. The 1967s are fine, but for that price, if you are in So Cal, get over here to Las Vegas and buy these. https://lasvegas.craigslist.org/ele/d/las-vegas-klipsch-klipschorn-kcbr/7579397745.html -

Yep, that looks like the unit that I bought in about 2007 or so. 222C. It had been gone through by Craig and when I bought it and was at his shop. I paid the seller and it shipped from Craig and Fed Ex or UPS dented it. I could be wrong but it sure looks like my old unit. Great sounding unit and price. I would jump on this one. I sold it for a lot more than the asking price. -

I may have owned the Scott 222 unit a while back. Is the top left corner a little dinged? It got damaged when shipped from Craig's shop. -
What finish? That means a lot. The wood finished are the most sought after, black painted will be the lest, then oak and then walnut will be the most desirable, unless you have something really special in an exotic finish. Post some pics. Did you inherit these? If so, set up a system and keep them if you like music. You will regret selling them if they are from a relative.

Awesome deal, someone needs to get there quickly with $500 and say thank you! GLWS -
I have the ******* Brew box set. Yes, a must have!

Your meter will present DC and show a resistance lower than what an amp will generally see from signal that is constantly changing.

Klipsch Forte IV vs Sonus Faber Lumina 5 vs Crites Type A speakers
tigerwoodKhorns replied to Mark in PA's topic in Lounge
I have always wanted a pair of their higher end speakers. Just beautiful to look at and I hear the same, they sound good with a lot of different music. Check the link below. In your ballpark, dynamic and easy to drive, but the midrange is not forward, just really accurate. Forget about surround system, those of us who have put together a surround system are not willing to sell, but a great price on a serious dynamic speaker. They sound good on many different types of music. https://www.usaudiomart.com/details/649918594-klipsch-palladium-p37f-flooor-standing-speakers/ -
That was the question that I was going to ask. Congrats on the sale.

Congrats, I'm in the market for a DAC or CD player and I was very tempted by this one,

FS: Palladium Subs Pair (P-312W) Florida (Free!)
tigerwoodKhorns replied to rivlinm's topic in Garage Sale
If you are not matching a set of Palladiums, find a buyer who wants to match their speakers and can figure out how to hook up an external amp, or you seem skilled, you can add binding posts and one Crown amp to drive both subs. Check these out, looks like just what the doctor ordered: hen pick up a sub from a manufacturer who specializes like JL Audio or SVS. Even better go with a horn loaded sub to match the La Scalas. There are some for sale in the garage section right now. Same seller but far away: -

Great offer. Seems like the electronic have issues like many other Klipsch subs. Do you have the matching Palladiums or just the subs (are you trying to keep matched speakers)? What is the finish? -

They need DPS for a decent response? I know a lot of amps have dps, but I never used it with my JL subs and it seems to sounder very good. -

tigerwoodKhorns replied to rivlinm's topic in Garage Sale
Don't give up yet. Do you have matching Palladium towers? What is the issue? Is it the drivers or the amp? if it is the amp, you can easily just bypass the internal amp and use an outboard amp to drive these. A lot of amps have inboard crossovers and correction software. Post this is subwoofers with some pics and you will get some help. You can shop around and likely pick up a very good amp for around $500 to $750. -
Crappy cheap parts used, they must sound awful. 😬 B&W Signature 800s used similar cheap non-audiophile parts, they sounded terrible too.

Heresy IV Subwoofer Dust Cap Indent

Get out of that relationship. Dealing with a childish vindictive partner is no way to go through life. -
Oh man you are making me work on a weekend. I just checked and it is under the bottom plate on the P38s. Very easy to get to. I can post a picture this week when I have my servers on.

I am confused but did not read every post. What about this one? Is this the guy who sold you the other one? https://www.ebay.com/itm/304759549181
