  1. One day I noticed the right woofer in my C-7 wasn't working. At first I thought "crap I must have blown it but then I thought naaa.. can't be". I then remembered a while back that someone had posted something about a similair problem where the wire had just slipped off the terminal. And sure enough... after unscrewing the woofer, and pulling it out, the positive wire was just dangling! I am not bitching because this was an easy fix, but seems like you could use some type of adhesive or something like locktite? Anyway thanks to this board I knew in advance what the problem probably was.
  2. I know being a member of this board for a while now that alot of you are partial to Klipsch, and that's fine. Just thought that maybe you had some other suggestions besides the KSW-12 or KSW-15? My cousin wants to get a sub for his system and I thought I would throw out a few other suggestions besides Klipsch? Myself I couldn't wait for the bugs to be worked out of the LF-10 and LF-12 so I went with M&K 350THX. That sub however is out of his price range Thanks in advance...
  3. try www.billybags.com only place at the time I could find a cd rack that hold 1000. they do custom stuff as well all kinds of video, audio racks etc..
  4. I agree with RWMIN, you can't always go with "the local guy". The retailer nearest me that sells Klipsch seem to be a bunch of stuck up snobby salespeople, looking for the monster sale. What I did was email some of the internet retailers and get quotes from them, I then printed them off, and brought them to another dealer who wasn't exactly close, but within reason. I asked him "what's the closest you can come to these internet prices". That's how I ended up with my KLF-30's for 1250. So if you are unsure about internet retailers or shipping costs, just use it as some form of leverage against the local guys.
  5. I don't think it would be anything noticable, I have been looking into this myself. I have the KlF-30's which are not shielded and when I first set them up in my living room, the picture on my TV was really distorted. I since have moved them a few feet away from my TV. I guess the question is do you have the room or not? If not check into the Bucking Magnets.
