  1. Awesome. And ofcourse, we're 12 years older too LOL I bought pc speakers (Accoustic Energy) of a similar quality at the time because the Klipsch speakers weren't available here, and they're *still* on my desk too. Talking about value for money. I keep telling that to ppl, good quality speakers will outlast quite a few pc systems. So a good headphone/ speaker setup is a good investment in my opinion.
  2. Oh oh, "Die Antwoord" one of my fav bands and as far as I'm concerned, the revelation of last year. South African white trash rap? Who would've thought of that? The funny thing about this thread, other than the fact Hofy's really getting old... is that in all these years I've had several systems, but I'm *still* using my orignal 2.1 system. Talking about value for money.
  3. I think I found another 2.1 system buyer. [Y] So seemed a good thing to "bump" this thread a little.
  4. Sorry, had to bump this one... [] Couldn't let it die. How are you doing Hofy?
  5. Like you said... this thread still going on... Guess time really flies. Still no Klipsch for me though, although I must say that I am quite happpy with my Accoustic Energy system. :-)
  6. AFAIK...no. They should be able to handle the heat.
  7. Hey, he works for the USAF, what can you expect?
  8. I reckon there be lotsa duct tape floating around in space now. "Houston we have a problem here, our view is blocked by something strange.....wait, it has something written on it....Hofy's duct tape systemc> Or maybe they can use it to salvage that Russian submarine Kursk.
  9. /OT Hofy, Dignan and me, we're a team for almost a year and half now....tear in eye

  11. Well, as the sats are magnetically shielded you can place them near your monitor, 2-3 feet apart. And if you place the sub on the floor (under your desk, in a corner) it should be fine too. As long as you don't place the sub *on* your monitor More important is the placing of the sats and the sub woofer, this depends on the accoustics of your room and your personal taste. Best thing to do is try out several places and then decide which one you like best. Just experimenting with the position of the sats can be very revealing.
  12. "you can't really tell how they sound by looking at them, i just found that sorta funny i guess." hehheh, I guess you're right, but then again, we're men, or at least I am, and we like to look at things "bloody brilliant" Uhm, like cars and women.
  13. Uhm guys, that's the Videologic Sirocco Pro you're talking about, rest assured, they will completely blow away the Klipsch. You wish you had the money to buy that baby
