I have a set of Jubilee passive crossover networks for sale. $600 for the three pieces. The smaller boards are for each woofer section and the larger board is for both of the upper horns. I'm sorry I don't have a schematic handy, nor do I remember the history of who built these. All of this information is on my computer somewhere, but I just don't have time to go digging for it. I do remember how much I paid for them, and that I got them from Richard (Coytee). I bet Richard will pipe in here with much more information. Email to me directly if you have questions or would like to purchase. voltiaudio@gmail.com Greg

I've had a 930 for five years or so. Very nice unit. Frankly, I think it's too much power for what I need most of the time. Got it based on the recommendations on this forum. Twin power supplies! I don't use it much and if anyone wants to buy it, let me know. It has been serviced once and I think everything is fine except there's something up with the tuner. From what I remember, the service tech didn't want to do the tuner work and I decided just to let it go because I don't listen to the radio anyway. Greg

http://www.voltiaudio.com/newsletter/NL19.shtml I'll be bringing the Vittoras for one room and the Verettas for the other. The Veretta just got a nice review if anyone's interested http://www.everythingaudionetwork.blogspot.com/2012/10/audiophile-speaker-review-volti-audio.html Greg

Regretfully I don't have the time right now to go into this in detail. They aren't as good as advertised in a number of ways. I much prefer condensing boilers with hot water storage to tankless boilers. The amount of heat loss from a hot water tank is miniscule compared to the lower overall efficiency of the tankless units. Here in cold country, the heat loss off the tank is just helping to heat the house anyway. If any boiler requires a metal pipe (or masonry chimney) for venting, rather than plastic pipe, there is a reason why. Heat is going up the vent and outside at a rate much higher than the manufacturers would like you to know about. Greg

I would sand them, but even so that may not even them out completely. The suggestion to use Watco and the Watco with colorant added is a good one. I would go that direction if you need to darken one of them a bit. Do everything you can to save the BR. I tried like heck on the Infinity speakers I'm restoring right now and I just couldn't save them. Makes me sick thinking about it. Greg

Why don't I just say I'm sorry but I can't help you? I got a call today from a woman in Fortson, GA who's husband has a pair of Klipsch Khorns that have a "buzzing" problem. Why he didn't call I don't know. But she wanted to know if I could tell her what the problem was and how much I would charge to fix her husband's Khorns. Well let's see, round trip airfare, hourly wages, materials . . . . Yeah right. I don't know, I just feel like one of us should help these people out. There are a lot of nice folks on this forum that I'm sure would help. I would if they weren't so far away. So I'm wondering if there's anyone in that area that's willing to look into this. I figured I'd check here first before I call her back to say I'm sorry, but I can't help you. Greg

Thank you for the kind words guys. Greg -
I think shipping by sea is fine. It's the only affordable way to do it with large crates. Everything is in containers and I believe fairly well protected from moisture. Greg

Because of the difficulty in crating up Khorns for overseas shipment, finding a good overseas shipping company, and making sure they are insured properly, I would recommend contacting a place like Craters and Freighters first. They take care of all of this in one easy transaction. If you contract with an overseas shipping company, remember that they usually only offer marine insurance, which only covers total loss, as in sinking of the ship. Incidental damage, like a crate falling over into your crate, or a forklift backing into it is not covered. When we ship our large speakers overseas, we purchase insurance from a separate company for about 1.5% and decline the marine insurance. Crating should be done with wood on all sides and some 2" foam in key places to hold the cabinets in place. Khorns should be standing upright with a piece of 2" foam between them, wrapped with plastic, and all sides of the crate should be plywood of some sort. See my Vittora webpage for some pictures of the crates we build www.voltiaudio.com/vittora.shtml Cost varies on how much overland shipping there is, how close ports are on both ends, and what special services are required, like delivery at the other end rather than pickup at the port, tailgate service, etc... I just shipped a pair of Vittoras (a 700lb crate) from Benton, ME to Hong Kong for about $1,100 and another pair to Sweden for $900. These prices include insurance. Good luck. Greg

Just a week away. Is anyone here planning to go? I'll be bringing a pair of Vittora speakers for room 219 just as I did last year. I also have the new Veretta speakers in room 221. www.voltiaudio.com/veretta.shtml Greg

I just thought I'd point out that in the Klipsch Klipschorn Specs page, it clearly states that the Khorn midrange driver is a 2" driver. Should be no problem to put a 2" BMS 4592 on the Khorn mid horn. http://www.klipsch.com/klipschorn-floorstanding-speaker MID FREQUENCY HORN: Exponential Horn MIDRANGE: K-55-X 2" (5.08cm) Phenolic diaphragm compression driver Greg [6]

Very little. Almost all the veneer we do now is with vacuum bags and Unibond 800 Urethane glue. Heatlock is supposed to have more fillers in it than the Titebond, and it's darker in color which is usually a plus. I don't know if it is actually any better though. I still buy Heatlock even though I think the company selling it uses questionable sales tactics. Greg -

All add this... great looking workshop... Thanks. You can see much more here www.voltiaudio.com/shop.shtml It's changed some in the last couple of years since the pictures and video were taken. The paint room has gotten a lot more refined, there's finally a door covering the stereo gear, the pool table was replaced with a torsion box table, and it's not nearly as clean now! Greg
