  1. Sean I have the B-4 Plus which you are welcome to hear if you want..Let me know if you are interested.. Art
  2. Neil is considered a great guitarist because he has developed a sound all his own..No he does not play as fast as Eddie Van Halen or is as accurate as a good studio guy like Eric Clapton..Neil's playing is distinctive and all his own..There are a million Eric Claptons but only one Neil..
  3. Actually Neil is considered a great guitarist..He has a style that is all his own and there are very few that are like that. Have him play on anybodys album and you know it's Neil..Thats the mark of a truly unique guitar player..
  4. Neil Youngs- Silver & Gold Willie Nelson - Live at Billy Bobs ELO- Zoom The Band- The Last Waltz
  5. Neil Youngs -Down By The River -Like A hURRICANE -Cortez The Killer etc etc etc
  6. I paid about $3000 CDN for my used 1988 mint walnut K-horns in Toronto two years ago....K-Horns are impossible to find in T.O. !!
  7. Can you slice a La Scala in two??
  8. I have a mint black pro La Scala that I am using for a center channel.. The only problem with this speaker is that when I am watching full screen DVD's(mainly concerts), the screen is covering most of the La Scala impeding the sound of the speaker..The speaker is already flipped over so that the mid rance and tweeter can project at the bottom of the screen..Anyways, if anybody has a two piece La Scala that they would like to trade, pls let me know..I could mount the top of the 2 pc La Scala on the ceiling..
  9. Buckwheat Zydeco- The Buckwheat Zydeco Story: A 20yr Party The Last Waltz- Concert DVD Neil Young- Silver and Gold /Concert DVD
  10. George Harrison- Brainwashed Neil Young- Greendale/With Bonus DVD
  11. Why would he have to audition K-Horns in Toronto when he has a pair in his apartment??
  12. TCB/Sony But you have a pair of Klipschorns for sale yourself, and have had a pair of La Scala's for sale in the past..Were the K-Horns in the store different than yours??
  13. I agree with DGB and his comment on Neil Young..This guy just keeps getting better with time..While most bands/artists from the 60's and seventies are gone, singing Lion King songs, doing cover albums, ie Clapton, Aerosmith, Rush, Neil is still as creative and enthusiastic as ever..Having a writer as a father doesn't hurt the creative gene pool either..
  14. Gary Send a list, I am sure you might have something I would trade for...
  15. Gary Not a big fan of the artists mentioned..If you have more titles that you would be willing to trade let me know..
  16. I bought Master and Commander and was quite dissapointed..Anybody want to make a trade?? I would be interested in concert DVD's(Willie Nelson, Fleetwood Mac) etc or maybe LOTR..
  17. Maybe..I just don't know anything about amps, hence me driving my K-Horns with my Denon 5800....There just seems to be some concern about using a 8ohm rated amp with a 4ohm loaded speaker..Is the concern for the amp or the speaker..I am really not worried about the amp, but the new SVS B4 is another story..If no harm is posed to the B4, then I will use the Carver until the new amp arrives...
  18. Ear I have tried both one channel and in bridged mode. When in one channel it really has no impact on the B4, but in bridged it gives the B4 some bounce..If indeed when I bridge the amp, it's working at 8ohms, will this cause harm to the sub..I am not worried about the amp but am concerned about damaging the B4....The amp has been overworked before and before anything serious happens, it's fuse blows....
  19. Will I harm my B4 Plus if I temporarily power it with a Carver M500T?? The reason I ask is that I don't believe the Carver bridges at 4ohm's..I won't have a proper amp for a couple of weeks and I have the Carver lying around not being used.... Thanks AH
  20. Looking for a Behringer 2500,Peavey, Carvin, crest, QSC 1850Hd etc to fire up my B4+..Let me know if you have one or something equivalent that you are willing to part with.. Thanks Art
  21. Anybody know of any good guitar forums?? I am particular interested in those that have a "for sale" area.... Thanks
