  1. So are you saying my Quadraphonic 8 Track is obsolete? (Yes I do have one, new in the box!)c> ------------------ SO MUCH TO DO, SO LITTLE TIME.c>
  2. Partition Magic is a must have. I have used it since version 3. Just ordered version 6 (Only a $29 upgrade, see it does help to own the originals! ) This program has been a real life saver.c> ------------------ SO MUCH TO DO, SO LITTLE TIME.c>
  3. This has been stupid since the first post. If you dont like it dont read it.c> ------------------ SO MUCH TO DO, SO LITTLE TIME.c>
  4. What better thread for my 1,000th post!!! Also we will be announcing our new :Cue Cat mounting system this week.c> ------------------ SO MUCH TO DO, SO LITTLE TIME.c>

  6. If it has an AGP slot go with the GeForce 2 series of cards. The GeForce2 MX with 32mb can be had for ~$110. There is also a PCI version of this card. The rest of the GeForce family can set you back up to $300 if not more. You only need one card now. c>------------------ SO MUCH TO DO, SO LITTLE TIME.c>

The fans I listed in my last post are all ballbearing and can be purchased from http://www.2cooltek.com Great guy to deal with and speedy service.c> ------------------ SO MUCH TO DO, SO LITTLE TIME.c>

    Cooling!

quote: Originally posted by Gxcad: Hey, now I'm looking into case fans, particularly 80mm but also one 90mm and one 120mm fan. #1 priority is quietness, and although I assume it doesn't get much quieter than 30db, I would like to see if anyone can offer me better for 80mm fans. How much junk would I need to have in my case to expire 330W of powersupplie? Hehe....just anxious, big upgrade coming up in 5 months or so -Gxcad c>f> Here is my lowdown on fan noise. This is per fan. Sunon 80mm 30 cfm 1.4w 28db Sunon 80mm 36 cfm 2.0w 32db Sunon 80mm 42.5cfm 2.6w 42.5db Sunon 92mm 44 cfm 2.3w 33db Sunon 120mm 69 cfm 2.4w 35.5db Sunon 120mm 90 cfm 4.6w 44.5db YS Tech 120mm 131.5cfm 7.92w 45db I have 2 of the 1.4w 80mm and 2 of the 2.0w 80mm along with the Golden Orb HSF. This is 50db at my seat 3 feet away. I turn on the YS tech 120mm fan and it shoots up to 60db. The new system I am building will have 4 Sunon 120mm 2.4 69cfm@ fans. 2 blowing & 2 sucking. That will be moving about 138cfm through the case and it should be quiter. If it is I am replacing the YS Tech in this system with 2 more of the Sunon 120mm. Also you need to check how much power your Power Supply is putting out at the different voltages. 3.3v 5v and 12v. The fans and neon and some of the drives use 12v. Total up all the wattage and compare to the label on the Power Supply. c>------------------ SO MUCH TO DO, SO LITTLE TIME.c>

    hey k

Actually KBlair and I are more like an Athlon and Duron or Celeron and Pentium. And neither of us is the high poster on the Klipsch board. Someone has 1488 posts. Let's see how well you all know the UBB and see who can post it first. Sorry Klipsch staff not allowed. c> ------------------ SO MUCH TO DO, SO LITTLE TIME.c>
  10. If Klipsch comes out with a stereo 2 speaker version of the Pros, we have a Duct Tape Mounting System ready and waiting for your mounting needs.c> ------------------ SO MUCH TO DO, SO LITTLE TIME.c>

    hey k

    The Best Case

I had my case all finished in a nice fax black granite when I had a brain fart for an even better paint scheme. Have it in primer right now. Also working on another case for my AMD Duron system. Should have theme 90% done in the next 2-3 weeks.c> ------------------ SO MUCH TO DO, SO LITTLE TIME.c>

    The Best Case

Yes, Addtronics are nice. I think more on the cheaper budget though. Steve, did you ever finish painting up that one? Or, did you do like me and change your mind when you where 95% done and start over? c>------------------ SO MUCH TO DO, SO LITTLE TIME.c>

    The Best Case

Personally I like the InWin Q500-600 Full tower. Goes for less than $100, 300watt PS easy to modify, and lots of room. 5/5¼" ext, 1/3½" ext, 6/3½" int. The 500 and 600 are the same case, just different front bezel. Also be careful when you buy cuz some have only a 250watt PS.c> ------------------ SO MUCH TO DO, SO LITTLE TIME.c>
  15. You want long threads?! Head over to ard/OCP's forum at ard/Forum There are some threads in the thousands of posts. Just know they dont censor much over there.c> ------------------ SO MUCH TO DO, SO LITTLE TIME.
  16. Still where it always has been. http://www.gamecopyworld.com/ c> ------------------ SO MUCH TO DO, SO LITTLE TIME.
  17. For those interested, I have posted my 667ES on eBay. Item #447760525 and reserve is $200. I paid $208. Hope I raise enough for a TBird and an Asus A7V mobo. (Thanks for the input Steve!)c> ------------------ SO MUCH TO DO, SO LITTLE TIME.

  19. No pics from MIR, they had to use the cameras as patching material too. BTW This thread is not meant to be funny, this is serious business. c>WooHoo 300 post to the thread!c> ------------------ SO MUCH TO DO, SO LITTLE TIME.
  20. I was going to go Athlon to begin with. When I fried the K6 system AMD was right in the middle of changing over from Slot A to Socket A(462). I didnt want old technology and couldnt get anything Socket A. So I ended up with the 667. Guess I'll through the 533 in the current system and see how the 667 does on eBay. Reserve is $200 (what I paid for it) That should cover the cost of a new Athlon TBird. Have to buy a Mobo even if I keep the 667.c> ------------------ SO MUCH TO DO, SO LITTLE TIME.
  21. Actually they didnt say. All they wanted the Duct Tape Mounting System for was to tape their speakers over another hole and to hold down some solar panels. I included a complimentary fire extinguisher with the shipment though.c> ------------------ SO MUCH TO DO, SO LITTLE TIME.
  22. I am about ready to bring my new system online to work as my gateway and file server. I only need the motherboard yet. I have a PIII 533 to go on it. I was wondering if I should try selling my PIII667 and just using the 533 with my current mother board in the new system. The PIII667 is an Engineering Sample by the way(Great for OverClocking). It might bring enough to get an 800 Athlon TBird AND motherboard. Any comments?c> ------------------ SO MUCH TO DO, SO LITTLE TIME.
  23. Welcome back DiG! Yes, networks are awsome! c> ------------------ SO MUCH TO DO, SO LITTLE TIME.
  24. THe Russians have been using my Duct Tape Mounting System for years. What do you think is still holding MIR together?!c> ------------------ SO MUCH TO DO, SO LITTLE TIME.
  25. Dont worry, I cant get on this site on my 386sx33 either.c> ------------------ SO MUCH TO DO, SO LITTLE TIME.
