if you're worried about masculine image, sling an AK or cane knife over your shoulder. Nobody will give you grief.

No, but if I wore it with high heels and makeup it would be another story, a sad, ugly, lonely story.

  2. That's a good thing most people have a weight problem, I have never been skinny, now 6'2" and 250-255, I need to lose 25 pounds, I feel better at that weight. The older I get the harder it is to lose but I am trying, no sugar or carbs.

Maby I need to get a Sarong ?

When I was trying to gain weight, I drank many chocolate malt milkshakes. Got pretty good at making them. No... I didn't gain weight.

That's how it works if your trying to gain weight, I never had that problem it was the easy part, I didn't have to even try.

I used to make a ton of malted shakes when I worked at an ice cream shop c.2000-2002.

When once on the road we stopped at a DQ because I thought of a real malt which I had not had in so long I couldn't remember. It was really good, but at the same time it felt like I was gaining 10 pounds it was so rich, I still ate the whole thing.

Yeah it’s a little lighter but it should take stain and I plan to sand whole speaker using 220 or higher and then refinish all hoping it blends. I’ve done auto body work and was going to treat it the same slow and steady hand sand and so on

When I need lighter I put the stain on and quickly wipe it off, usually takes a couple coats depending.'

Since you did body work if you decide to use poly it sprays fine even though some say don't spray it. I always spray poly, it's fun, a brush is not fun to me.

This is a satin poly on a sub, I was happy the way it came out,

From what I’ve read I think I’m going to sand them and spray the stain on then oil it once it’s dry unless there is a polyurethane

The stain is the easy part to just wipe on, I use regular stain not the gel or other things, and you need darker apply again and let sit longer before wiping off. Leave it sit for days at least before using oil or polyurethane.

I did my MWM cabinets in Oak stain than oiled them with Tung or linseed oil, can't remember which. With either of the oils be sure to wipe off as much as possible between coats and on the last coat, leave only what soaks in. I found about a year later they needed another coat, it started to look a little dry.

Also have some Oak Oil Forte 11's from the factory and a pair of Oak clear. Being how old they both are I can't tell a difference, I guess the oll finish got as hard as the poly  finish over time ?

    Clean Box Pro

I got one years ago to adjust live voltage between consumer and pro gear. The DX 38 did not match up with consumer gear. NO lights would light on the DX with that low of a signal the Clean Box Pro fixed it, it is exactly what it is designed for.

When Roy was looking for something to volume match tubes and SS for the Klipsch listening room I told him about it, he read about it and overnighted one to the plant to use for a plant tour. Mine is still working fine after years.

he was breaking FCC rules running that much power anyway.

I herd about that being the problem, I know nothing about CB radios but it made sense. I was told it can even be picked up in the wire going to the speakers if the signal was strong enough ?

I got on mic and said this is some badge number and there's a fight at the ferris wheel.

I would imagine that would get you in alot of trouble, but I guess it just happen to be on the same frequency and worked.

  9. The license plate like in the picture, those were sold by Klipsch in the past.

The ones the museum has in not a stamped type it is flat.

Why they and other things are not on the museum page is a good question, I thought this was done way over a year ago, guess not.

Glad to see ya. I was about to ask if you were OK.

    Been pretty warm over there.

Our temps are about the same as you're getting ... but, as easterners are fond of saying, "It's a dry heat". 10% R/H

We don't simmer in sweat, We get a crust

Were OK, well I am unless your a psychiatrist then your going to be busy or at least amused.

Don't think I have ever seen 10% R/H, 30 to40 probably. You can sweat in the shade with a fan on you here, that's normal.

  11. I use an older version, the inside looks quite different.

Started using them when the amps I was using started humming and didn't know what I wanted, just temporary. Ended up liking them and still use them today. Cheap yes, but completely quite and this is with horns well over 100db with one watt.  The sound is good and 50 wpc is more than I use or need.
