  1. Welborne 300b, Opera Consonance 211, Sun Audio SV2A3, custom 2A3 stereo integrated, Horus based 2A3 monos, Handmade Electronics WE91A 300b monos, Sean Casper 5998 stereo, and a couple other custom amps. We will be running them on Klipsch RF7s and Altec 19s downstairs, and IMF Reference 80s upstairs. Check my thread in two channel...
  2. Jim, we are having a big shindig this weekend in St. Louis. You can listen to eight SET amps, buy one, and take it home.
  3. Please note there are three Tektronix scopes that are great working scopes, a frequency counter, a function generator. These are great deals; pm me or post bids here to win yours.
  4. Thanks, Bruce. Last year was a hoot - we had an Aussie walk in and immediately say "What the hexv are these glass thingies?" He couldn't believe they were amps.
  5. Please rsvp if you would like to attend! Thanks, Dave http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=150208.0
  6. The two top side mounted attenuators are a sure sign of EV or Jensen. If the cab is Klipsch, it is Klipsch, otherwise you default to the drivers. Here the drivers appear to all be EV, so you have EV speakers. Neoconservative, Jensen, EV, Brociner, Tannoy all had twin 45 degree faces, but you run with the drivers. Sorry.
  7. Nice, clean unit! Here are the Austin hams, they can help you without much bs.. http://austinhams.org/
  8. If they are a four pin tube, any tube based ham operator will know a guru who will test them for a six pack of microbrew. Don't fall into the $50 a tube bs, testing all four takes under ten minutes. besides, these tubes normally last about fifty years in a dedicated ham outfit. They aren't breaking a sweat in these amps.
  9. These seem to be Acousticraft cabinets stuffed with JBL guts, in exemplary condition. Quite nice, similar to the C36 cabinets. The le20 tweeters sound nicer than the 075 bullet tweeters.
  10. Are you in the Seattle or St. Louis area? If St. Louis, I have a friend who can check these for free. i have two 811 mono blocks; they are quite good with Klipsch. Congrats, your wife probably has a good head on her shoulders with an engineer dad like this.
  11. Would you take a photo of the woofer doghouse as is, with the cover removed? I am interested to see if there are holding metal bars in there. Thanks!
  12. Hey Jim, and all folks, there is a thread on AK about a gentleman who has vertical compression retaining bars on his woofer motorboard. Is this a little mod trick, or a standard factory practice of KHorns for some time? http://audiokarma.org/forums/index.php?threads/klipschorn-disassembly-help.770096/#post-10535515
  13. He nodded the tweeters, but ran out of money and didn't replace the reentrant mid horn, which is markedly bad.
  14. Did he have that frown on his face, Mike? No tubes for you, leave!
  15. Hey Mike, if there are good boxed tubes, I will bankroll you. Let me know....
  16. King's Bay, eh? We got to stop there after a junior officer rubbed our rubber nose cone into tatters trying to dock the sub down in St. Croix.
  17. All three of the AGeorgians I have had were 15" woofers. The Patrician in its midlife have first the 18" woofer, and then the 30" woofer.
  18. Mike, I know what they are worth, and the value range in which they fall. You have my contact info in private mail. Dave
