just got some speakers for my truck { crystals} they sound awsome might want to see if you have them where you live. went to listen to speaker at different audio shops and these where the best i thought for my taste. also got an amp and a 10" sub and alpine radio cd and changer

set it at 50hz tell me what you think? if your speakers play down to 48 hz, so if you set the sub at 50 it should pic up the rest right ???

thats true if you dont have a hdtv you cant use a p scan dvd player

i had mine on the floor right in front of my big screen for the same reason as you,did not want to place the big monster on top of my tv,but once i placed it there it sounds 20 times clearer and better. so thats where it is everythings ok so far.

you guys dont know what you MISSING!!!! i also love stereo but this is killer sound coming at you from all angles. everyone has different tastes

i have the dvp-ns700p that is progressive and unless its hooked up to a hdtv the picture is the same

go with Dishnetwork,i have it and im happy and it also has 3 outputs of video per reciever and the new reciever has hdtv output. so this would mean that you need 2 recievers right to getwhat your after.

the 30's i think would sound killer

you guys need to get Dishnetwork it has 5.1 on Showtime,they also just came out with a new box that is able to provide HDTV signals when they are avaliable

i have Dishnetwork and im getting 5.1 coming in on showtime and hbo

steve is right the more power the better your system will sound at lower volumes

yes they do i have the dishnetwork and there are a few channels that have 5.1 surround coming through like showtime but only at prime time like 8 pm, also the pay per view have the 5.1 broadcast. you still need to have a dolby digital reciever.

i biwired my klf30's and it sounds alot better but thats my opinion

boris i have the same set up but i have a sub you can try all large,rear and center small,main large center large surround small try everything and see what sounds better to your taste

cola i would use the KLF30'S as the surrounds this way you get the same effect as the fronts, this would be an equal match. i have the ksp6's as my surrounds and there great but i would rather have the klf30's but due to my budget (no money new baby) i have to be happy with what i have

i have the 1000 and it seems to work fine, but i think that the 2500 will be much better
