  1. I’m looking to add an additional sub (sorta an upgrade) to my home theater. I recently bought the R120SW over the weekend on sale for 300 but I recently found a listing for a SVS 25-31PCI for sale and negotiated it to 150. I do a decent amount movie & music. My my current set up includes SR 5011 Receiver (but used as preamp) RP 280F with MM7025 separate am RP 250c (center) RP 140SA (Atmos) KF 42 II (surround) these three are on an Proceed AMP 5 with an R10SW subwoofer. I cant decide if I should return the Klipsch R120SW to buy the SVS 25-31 PCI. I do a good 50-50 for music and movies. I listen to all variety do music from hip hop to EDM to Vietnamese pop music & bolero. My living soon is a small room maybe 12x12x10, with 3 walls connected to another room on the wall-less side. That connected room is about 15x10x10 with 3 walls and connect to another room. (Hope that makes sense. HELP!!!! Ps this is my first post, new to forum and thank you for any help!
  2. Hi guys, Just want to ask, if you have to choose between Cornwall I or II, which one you prefer & why? Is it true that the CW I is easier to work with because all drivers are mounted from the back while CW II is front mounted? Both seller said they are in good working condition, so no need to upgrade Caps/Xover anytime soon, but I will do the upgrade anyway. Cosmetically, the CW I has few dings here & there and does't seat on riser while the CW II is excellent (from the pictures). I'm in a position that can not audition both CWs. Any suggestions & advices much appreciated. Thanks, Jimmy
  3. Up for sale are my lovely Belle Klipschs. I have upgraded (altered) (modified) them with the Volti wooden mid horn, Crites CT120 tweeter, Crites A-55-G mid driver, and Crites xover. Sadly my new home (and wife) can't accommodate these beauties so it's time to sell. The Belles sound great stock but it is THE best speaker I've heard (to my aging ears) with the updates (yes including Klipschorn, I us a sub so sue me) Cabs are an 8/10 with very small nicks and one small dent (in pics). They look and sound phenomenal. I live in Northen CA and am willing to travel a moderate distance to meet a buyer. No shipping. I'm asking $3,000 obo. I know most stock Belles go from anywhere from 2k-3k and I guess you will have to decide if the upgrades are worth it or if you are looking for bone cold stock then these probably aren't your babies.
  4. For Sale in Minneapolis, MN. Fantastic condition/sounding. All original drivers/Crites Crossover.
  5. Hello Klipschonean frends :-) I need help! We just bought a brand new home and I had a contractor install 6 speakers in the celling, 4 1650 and 2 3650 for the rear. Today I decided to remove the grille and I don't know if they used the correct speakers and I wonder if someone could help me out because by the pictures I see online, they don't look the same. Please see attachment ... Can you recognize these speakers? The one with wires going in to the tweeter is supposed to be 1650's and the other a 3650. Thanks in advance ...
  6. So I recently upgraded my Klipsch RP-150M bookshelf speakers that I had for about 3 years to the Forte III’s in my audio setup a few days ago. Wow...all I have to say, biggest improvement I have seen so far! I have been experimenting with placement, currently have them about 12-13inches from the back wall in my apt., slight toe-in and 6-7 feet apart. They are about 13 feet from main listening position. Sounding pretty good but does anyone have any recommendations for me to improve the sound more? Also I have heard that these speakers need time to break in to sound their best, is this true? Any and all comments are appreciated!👍🏻 - Matt
  7. Hello friends! I'm trying to find out how Klipsch speakers respond to classical music, opera etc. I'm planning to buy a complete set up for a surround system, Dolby Atmos with the RF-7's in the front, RC-64 III center channel etc. I read that those speakers are amazing when it comes to rock and rock, pop music etc, but I don't see many people talking about classical music. What it's your opinion? Thanks!

  10. Bought this locally and tried to convince the wife to let me put these in our upstairs living room to make a real theater in the basement. She shot that down pretty quick. (1) R-5800-W II (used for center) - $399 MSRP (4) R-5650-W II (used for fronts and surrounds) - $349 MSRP Each (2) CDT-5800-C II (ATMOS) - $399 MSRP Each Total MSRP - $2539 The only thing i'm seeing missing is two of the machine screws. I'll try and fine some at a hardware store before I ship them. I also have all of the grills and hardware needed to mount. I may not have many posts here but I can get some references from very well known members if you want them. My Price - $750 shipped obo Feel free to shoot me a text. 816-728-9319 Thanks, Matt
  11. Hi guys! I had this subwoofer for 4 days and yesterday when i played playstation, i heard a weird crackle and pop from the subwoofer. After that, it stopped working. There was a green light on it, but no sound. I removed the powercord for 5 minutes, and now, everytime i plug in the power this happens. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=983QxAEIF3w Everytime, the element gets sucked in and the green light lights up whenever it does it. And it does this 3.4 times until it shuts completely off. No green light anymore until i remove the powercord and plug it in again. Any idea what causes this? Should i just deliver it back and get a new one?

  22. I have a beautiful RSW-15 in black available for sale. It is in terrific shape, has some minor scratches, one small imperfection, 2 missing grill pegs, and is otherwise in great shape. I purchased this subwoofer from another member in the forum and would like to sell it to another member in the forum to "pass it on." I have tested it extensively, and it works 100%. I added feet to this sub, as it came without feet. Some scratches on the bottom are there most likely due to the lack of feet. I did some light touchup on them in order to make the appearance as perfect as possible. The member who had it before me took excellent care of it, and I have also. It has absolutely no performance issues and plays loud, low and clear. Asking $750 for the RSW-15. I enjoy getting to know and meet the members here. Please be friendly! I look forward to creating a win-win here My track record is not long here but I am 100% honest and forthcoming. Feel free to ask any questions or request additional pictures of any part as needed. I am located in Chicago, Illinois, in the far north part of the city. Easily accessible for anybody, safe and parking is not a problem where I live. Cheers, Roboklipsch
  23. Hi there! First post here. Just picked up a beautiful pair of KG4s, brought them home... and what would you know my receiver is acting up. I was fiddling with it to try and figure out what was wrong, heard a loud pop, and when I later tested the speakers with a friend's functional Yamaha receiver one of the drivers had no sound coming out. So I'm desperately looking for a K8K Replacement! I have seen threads where people suggest clones, but haven't heard back about any experiences and would really rather keep them OEM. Does anyone have any K8Ks lying around or know where to get some? Worst case scenario, anyone have experiences with whether the 'clones' are up to par? Really want to get these amazing speakers back to working condition. Thanks!
