  1. Hello, I would like to ask you for 2 questions... 1) how huge should be room for r115 sw? I got r110sw in 6x4 meters. Its really bone rattling booms shaking with my internal organs i got it only on 40%. I got lpf and in rcv 80-100hz. In tron movie about 42minutes its hardcored so i am afraid of r115. My friend has a r110 and smaller room and he cant reach my sound on 70%. I think its cause by room acustic. So should i go for r115? 2) how is your setups, is there any recommended setup? I got floorstands rf82 ii which is playing from 32hz i guess and i set it in RCV from 50hz, center 450c is from 60hz and surrounds rb61ii are from 50hz. Lpf is 80 sometimes 100. My setup is : front: rf 82 ii Center: 450c Surrounds: rb 61 ii Subwoofer: r110 sw Thanks a lot for advise.
  2. I've finally received my RB61 ii's which completes my 7.1 setup... for now anyway I have RS42's that I have on the sides, and won't be able to upgrade them for quite some time (until I can save up). the new RB61ii's can keep up with the RF-7 ii's a lot better than the RS-42's can. So does it make more sense to have the 42's at the back since the amount of work they would potentially receive at the back would be less than compared to the Sides? I feel like the RB61 ii's would be more impactful being at the side position. Room size is 30ft and the back's would 10 ft behind the sitting position (technically in the Dining room). The Sides are close to the sitting position within 3ft. I know there's been conversations on putting Sides as backs before on the forum and many agree that Surrounds are meant for the Sides. But the topics that I've found are more centered around them being Surrounds vs Bookshelves. In this case the Bookshelves out-power the surrounds by a decent amount and I'm curious to hear what everyone's opinion on that would be
  3. Up for sale is a pair of black RB-61s (not IIs) in outstanding condition, with original boxes. The RB61s were only used for a short while as rears in a 7.1 Reference setup. Boxed them up and put them in a corner 2 1/2 years ago when I moved to an all Heritage setup. After pics, I put the speakers back into the original shipping box ready sell. (I did not want too . . . was saving them for a special occasion. Wife said, "But you do not have any other Reference speakers. And, if you ever want to buy another Heresy, the RB-61s have to move out!" There is a small hairline surface scuff (not through the vinyl) I tried to capture in a pic with flash on. The flash magnifies it in the fuzzy picture below. I just did not want anyone to buy them and say . . . "Hey, I see a tiny hairline scuff (not through the vinyl) on the top of the speaker when I shine a 3000 watt Halogen light on it!" Yes, I could have put some black marker, or shoe polish, or some other trick on there to cover it up. I figure that the new owner, if bothered at all, could elect to do that. Again, I never saw it until I took a pic of the top with a flash and then looked at the fuzzy magnified pic. Believe me, with little previous use, perfect corners, perfect cones, and excellent cosmetics (grills excellent too), you will not be disappointed. $250 cash for forum members; local pickup in south metro Atlanta, GA or $250 plus shipping . . . they are in their original boxes and ready to go.
