  1. So im finally ready to set up all my klipsch speakers and denon avr. Im new to this. I bought a panamax surge protector that has 9outlets but unsure where to plug the subwoofer, tv and denon avr into?? There are 4 outlets labelled "bank 2-high current outlets" and another one labelled "bank 1-Linear filtration". Please helpppppp. I dont want a thud from the woofer. Thanks everyone! Happy new years
  2. Hi all. Newbie to the klipsch family. I just purchased the above speaker setup and need some guidance on a decent AVR in terms of brand and wpc. I dont want to underpower them and looking for options for a solid avr that pairs well with klipsch without breaking the bank. Thanks in advance
  3. Ok. Have it narrowed down to these two avrs. I have a pair of RF-82iis, R-115SW, and RC-62ii. Need thought on deciding best avr. Reliabilty, power, sound. Will be adding surrounds amd eventually atmos. Thanks for the input
  4. Hello klipschers! im new to the game. For xmas, i got a pair of Rf-82ii and R-115SW. I will be adding center speak in near future. I dont have alot of spare cash but wanting a good avr to push them adequately and how they should. I just know the rating of 150w max is out of my budget for a receiver that can push that. Thanks for all the help. Cant wait to hear them
  5. Complete newbie here and my very first post on this forum. I have been reading some of the posts and amazed at the wealth of information here! My current setup is 2.1 (Klipsch RF-82II with SVS PB-1000) powered by Yamaha RX-V567 receiver. I have been reading that Yamaha and Klipsch are not best together (sounding bright etc) and thinking of moving to pure stereo setup. I do feel that they are bright and can't listen more than an hour. So I am leaning towards warm yet detailed sound. All my input will be digital and have no plans to add Phono in the future. Some of the setup combinations I have been looking are 1. DAC paired with Amp (Niles SI-2150 refurbished or Emotiva BasX A300 - both are 150wpc around $300+) a) NAD D1050 b) TEAC UD-503 c) Schiit Bifrost d) Peachtree DAC ITx Only TEAC had volume control and I would have to get passive preamp (Emotiva Control Freak or Schiit SYS) to control volume otherwise. 2. Integrated Amp NAD C368 (80 wpc) or C388 (over budget, will have to wait for refurbished) 3. AV Receiver Refurbished Marantz SR-5010 with Amp mentioned above. Since this is my first stereo setup, I want to stay under $1000 Please help me setup!!!

  7. Hello, The new Reference Premieres are slowly getting on sale in Germany, so I have not had a chance to see or to listen to any of them yet: If you have; How do they compare to the RF 62II? The RP-250F, so the smallest of the floor standers are priced roughly the same as the RF 62II. The RP-260F are priced slightly higher than the RF-82II anf the 280F somewhat higher than that and probably outside my budget anyway..... Sincerely Carsten Junge
