Hi, the subwoofer on my Promedia 2.1 system gave up on me a few months back and I finally decided to replace it which meant I ended up buying an entirely new Promedia 2.1 system identical to my first. But the speakers on my first Promedia system are still completely functional, so I'd like to know if there's anyway I can utilize them. Can I connect them in the same ports as the set of speakers that came with my second promedia? Is there a way I can make them into a center channel? Any ideas would be great because if not these speakers will just end up gathering more dust in the back of my closest.

SOLD - and actually sold and traded. Received cash plus nice pair of Quartets in exchange. Happy seller, happy buyer. Two great speaker models. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1355312382008447 Klipsch Cornwall 1 speakers (pair) made in 1980 in Birch Raw tastefully stained to Walnut appearance. Some cosmetic flaws but for speakers of this age they are in excellent condition with little signs of use. Offers considered, especially if you have a set of Klipsch Quartets - or maybe Forte - in partial trade. Please, I will not consider any other speakers or brand - just the two Klipsch speakers mentioned. Quartets should fit in my current listening space better. Fortes might work too. These speakers are absolutely amazing and sound fantastic! For that reason I hate to part with them but quickly after purchasing them I realized that they do not comfortably fit the space in our house - so, my hasty decision and loss is your gain! Never fear - I have other Klipsch speakers and I definitely plan to buy more - so here is your chance to own one of the best Klipsch speakers ever made! Previous owner said the crossovers were updated with Crites components and that was verified after I removed the backs to take pictures of the internal components and new B&K Sound Type B crossovers. Other than the crossovers all else appears to be Klipsch factory original. The previous owner claimed to be the original owner although I think it was actually his brother who purchased them new. If you’re already familiar with Klipsch Cornwall then you probably don’t need to read further - but most people will not feel the need for a subwoofer with these speakers that are capable of reaching 38Hz. The bass sound from the 15” ported woofer is phenomenal! Klipsch engineering specifications: Frequency Response +/- 5dB 38 to 17,000 Hz Sound Pressure level 98.5 dB for 1 watt input at 4 feet Impedance: 8 Ohms 35 3/4” H x 25 1/2” W x 15 1/2” D I have more pictures than what I can post in this listing so send a message if you would like to see those too. I’m in the Knoxville, Tennessee area and for obvious reasons I’m restricting this to local pickup with cash only. Most people realize that these speakers are special and they’re worth making a long drive to pick them up.

I am trying to recap a pair of RF-3s using some old info I have found on the site. I have attached the schematic for reference. I am unable to find the 4.5uF caps from Dayton Audio. All I see are 4.3uF and 4.7uf. a) what would the difference be running one of these two? b) does anyone have a recommendation besides Dayton Audio that would have a 4.5uF cap available? My apologies if I have posted this in the wrong forum. If so, please let me know the best place to pose this question. Thank you. Klipsch RF-3 crossover schematics.pdf

Posted these 2 speakers a couple of years ago and had a few hits but was too busy with work to keep up... now I'd really like to get them out of my garage. Also including the Yamaha reciever pictured. I don't want to ship these monsters so I'd prefer someone that can come pick them up ASAP but if the price is right and you want to pay for shipping by all means just make an offer. I have more pictures here on Craigslist Austin. Make an offer and tell me when you can get them in a private message with some kind of contact info or reply to the craigslist post. Thanks yall!

Although the stickers are removed, I believe these are Klipsch KLF-20's. Great shape, work well. Local pickup only. In Fountain Hills, AZ (close to Scottsdale, AZ). Asking $800 for the pair. KSF-10.5's, KLF-C7 and KV3's below: Also have (I believe) are a pair of KSF-10.5's. The foot on it is broken (pictured), but rests fine. We're going to be repairing at time of this post, but want full disclosure that one foot was repaired. But, sits level even though foot is off. Speakers work great. Asking $400. KLF-C7 Center Channel speaker is available. Great shape, works great. Pictured below. Asking $250. KV3 Center Channel speaker (oak) is available. Great shape, works great. Pictured below. Asking $200

I have a Onkyo Tx-nr686 i bought last year and i am currently running a old set of sony book shelf speakers and a center channel that are 100 watts and 8 ohms in a 5 speaker set up. I am looking to finally upgrade my speakers. I was hoping to be able to do tower speakers for the fronts and the bookshelf ones in the back with a new center channel. But i don't want to throw away money if my system isn't powerful enough to get the potential benefits. My question is what wattage and ohm ratting should i be looking for? Not looking to spend a fortune on the speakers but i have looked at the polk t series and monitor series 2 , the sony core series and the klipsch if i can find the right sale. Any help would be appropriated. Thank you in advance.

Up for sale are my KPT456’s have used them for the last 3 years in my main two channel system. These speakers truly are amazing sounding. Both HF and LF crossovers were updated to factory specs as well as the 1132 horn/diaphragms when I bought them. These will bring someone many years of listening pleasure! Just look at the specs included - real nice frequency response! Highly sensitive at 104db lower dynamic listening levels are ideal as are concert level if desired. Those of you that have experienced these in a proper setup know what Im talking about, I really hate to see them go but I must sell due to health conditions and downsizing. Everything you need to know - Specs and pics included. Can be picked up in Maine or arrangement can be made for delivery. Priced to sell 1500 takes them.

Hi Folks, I'm looking for a model number and repair parts. The speakers are about 35-40 years old or more (guessing). They weigh about 50 lbs each (guessing). Light Oak cabinets. Top element is marked 'Traktrix'. Label on the back but it is blank, see picture. I could not find any S/N. Dimensions are 12.25" W, 17.5" D, 37.5" H These were damaged in a flood, and the first thing I need to do is replace some of the feet - they are spikes that press fit into the bottom of the speakers, and fit into an outer plastic sleeve/foot to rest on a hardwood floor. Any help is appreciated - thanks!

I just got my RP 600Ms. Im used to using banana plugs. The terminal connectors look like they have a center plug that can be removed. I tried and couldnt see how to get the plug out. Am I incorrect about this or can banana be used on this speaker?

I have a chance to buy a pair of KG4's or KG5.5's. Asking the experienced Klipsch guys/gals here which is the better and smoother sounding speaker. The sellers are asking 500 for the pair. Thanks for your help. Both appear to be in excellent condition.

Hi everyone, I've been using Klipsch products for around 15 years and love them. I finally got around to dedicating a room for my home theater and it's working pretty good. I went for an Atmos 7.1.4 setup. But I'm not sure I have my speakers identified or placed correctly. I don't know much about Auro 3D except I think it is not as popular for formats on many DVDs at this point. I was thinking Auro 3D and was thinking of putting a VOG speaker in the middle of the ceiling, but would rather concentrate on getting Atmos 7.1.4 setup properly. The image I included shows the general layout of my room. My TV is a Sony 75" XBR75X900F 4K, my receiver is a Denon AVR-X6400H (no additional amps). Everything sounds really good as is, or at least I think it does. For tuning / reference I use the DTS-Dolby & Atmos Reference Blu Ray's from 2016, the Atmos samples seem to place the sounds where I would expect them (at least I think it does) when looking at the visual video reference on my TV. So I guess my questions is: is it OK to have the SL/SR, RHL/RHR and SBL/SBR all in the ceiling? Should I relocate any of these speakers for a better or more proper Atmos experience? My seating is the Octane Bolt XS-400 recliners and are located about 11 ft from the back wall and they can't be moved forward. When sitting in my middle recliner I'm roughly 11 ft from the TV display to my nose. If I relocate the side surrounds to the walls, they would be further out by 6 to 7 feet vs in ceiling where they are located now. This is the only big change I was thinking could be possible. Thanks in advance for any guidance you may be able to offer.

ITEM SOLD. Thanks. Sub is available--I'll get around to listing it sometime. $725 IS FOR SOURCE SPEAKERS ONLY. GROTTO SUB IS $350. LOCAL PICKUP 19380 ONLY. Or, you can pay and arrange for U-Ship or other shipping. Condition is 9/10. As a second owner, I never have rated anything over 8/10; but these are in such perfect condition I will break my rule. Pet-free, kid free, smoke free, dust free home. The tilt-able bases allow the vertical angle to be set for seated or standing listeners. A very cool idea and can be used with or without the original spikes. Martin Logan CLS2 Source. Hybrid stats with cone woofers that integrate quite nicely with panels. Always kept covered. Vacuumed with a Kirby G4 ('nuff said) horsehair brush very carefully, LIGHTLY and gently several times per year, although they did not need it because I have electrostatic air filters on furnace/AC system and due to allergies always use filtered air in the house year round. I do not think you will ever find a nicer pair than these Martin Logan Source CLS electrostatic hybrid speakers in this ad! I will be sad to see them go, but I have not used them in a year. They have been sock-stored in my living room, displaced by Merlin VSM-M speakers I picked up locally. They are ready to be picked up at the front door. My 15W Cyrus Brenneman Stereo-15 EL84 amplifier drove them fabulously in a 13' X 18' X 8' living room open to dining room. So much so, that I did not feel I needed the Grotto subwoofer, in fact, guests at first did not believe the powerful lows coming from the Source were WITHOUT the subwoofer on. But, if you take time and attention, the Grotto will blend in just marvelously and seamlessly. For Rap/RnB/HH music, a sub is almost always helpful, of course, and a large room will benefit from the Grotto or any tight musical sub. Please see pictures at Audioasylum or Audiomart. Thanks. Grotto is available separately for $350 and I can do a deal if someone buys both--picked up at front door. https://www.usaudiomart.com/details/649631749-martin-logan-source-speakers-immaculate-condition-grotto-subwoofer-optional/ Unless you are OCD, these speakers are flawless. They were always kept covered by me and the first owner--in fact--we both babied these. The platform they come with is unique in that by just twisting the panels 180 degrees around, you can raise the tilt 15 degrees for parties with standing guests, or leave them level. Ingenious design. I read that Martin Logan put significant engineering effort into the panel and bass integration and the new CLS2 bracing that is now on all their speakers. These have tremendous gal appeal. Available for front door pickup in West Chester, PA 19380. They fit easily in a 4 dr sedan like a Honda Accord or Acura TL. Comes with ALL accessories all in EXCELLENT condition. Rating them 8/10 as I am the second owner. You will not be disappointed; what you get is what is described, always. Thank you. Martin Logan Grotto subwoofer is excellent condition is available separately at $350. Rating this 7/10 because it has some slight smudges not noticeable from a distance. It is quite in nice shape--and c'mon, it's a sub that sits in a corner. This got hardly used. My significant other loved these speakers, but low frequencies make her tense! I have voluminous ++Feedback at all the usual suspect sites under this same name: NuRxHunter What you will pick up at front door: 1 PAIR Martin Logan Source CLS2 pair of speakers AND ALL ORIGINAL ACCESSORIES, including: 1 Tilt Platform 8 ML Spikes 2 Energizing adapters 2 ML Sock covers 2 User Manuals Everything looks as new SPECIFICATIONS Frequency Response 42–22,000 Hz ±3dB Recommended Amplifier Power 20‒400 watts per channel Horizontal Dispersion 30° Vertical Dispersion 28" (71cm) line source Sensitivity 90 dB/2.83 volts/meter Impedance 5 Ohms, 1.6 @ 20kHz. Hello! I am trying to decide between buying a pair of klipsch forte 2 that the seller says have "recapped crossovers and updated tweeter diaphragms" for $800 or a pair of rogers studio 1s for $700 they both appear to be in fantastic condition littles scrapes but other than that they look great. Has anyone heard both speakers to help me decide?
