  1. Is it possible to make my Promedia 2.1 BT play music coming via the audio cable and the bluetooth at the same time? The device stops playing music coming in from the audio cable as soon as it connects via bluetooth. On my older speakers I used to have my phone connected via BT and my PC via audiocable and it worked perfectly. Please help. I dont want to give up of these great speakers. (And sorry if this qnestion is already here but I cannot it anywhere.)
  2. Hi! I've recently bought a klipsch sub and hooked it up to my receiver using the cable from the attached image. I chose this cable because my receiver only has one input for sub pre out. When playing music, no base comes from the sub. I'm trying to stay away from using LFE cable because I mainly use my system for music, but do anyone have an idea why this connection doesn't work?
  3. Hi! I've recently added a klipsch sub (r-115sw) to my home audio system, and I was wondering wether to plug my sub and amp though LFE or a RCA Y-splitter. I mainly use my system for music and in regards to that, i've heard differing statements. Some say LFE is the best option for movies and RCA the best option for music. Others even say that for an untrained ear like mine, I wouldn't even notice the difference between LFE and RCA. So what i'm asking is, if my main use for my system is listening to music, should I connect my sub and amp through LFE or RCA? If any of you have any suggestions as to what cable would be good/compatible with my sub, I would be grateful. Thanks!
  4. Sitting around being bored while out on sick leave, I decided to do a little upgrading to the ol' turntable. Lately I've been exploring different cables for the stereo, so I decided on buying a new tonearm cable to replace the old Monster cable I knew wasn't that good. I went with a Jelco unit to match my Jelco SA-750 arm. While I was at it, I replaced the headshell with the beautiful rosewood headshell also from Jelco. Last but not least, I awapped out the stock base for a sturdier base from a company called Ammonite, out of GB, also known as the "Shuggie" collar. Results are very impressive to say the least! Hard to tell which upgrade is most responsible, and I was far to impatient to do one at a time. So, for about $350.00 I have a much better sounding vinyl system!
  5. Does anyone know how long the cables are between the subwoofer and the 2 satellite speakers for the Pro Media 2.1 BT set? I found no information on that in any of the documents for that speaker system on this site or elsewhere in the internet tubes.
  6. Hello there. I recently purchased the Klipsch Reference Premier RP-280F speakers and wish to BI-AMP them to my Onkyo AV Reciever. TX-SR805. I purchased these in hopes of BI-AMPing to increase front power. The problem is the cabling. I originally was going to buy this Gotham SPK 8.25mm cable pair but they went out of stock. (see image) Does anyone have any other recommendations on cabling that would be equivalent or know a source for this cable other than Amazon? Thanks!
  7. We are planning the following set of receiver, speakers and sub woofer for a 28` x 14` family room: - Receiver: Denon 6300H (7 channels in family room, 2-4 channels in backyard) - Left & Right: Klipsch RP 260 F - Center speaker: Klipsch RP 250 C - Rear in-wall speakers: Klipsch R 3800 W II - In-ceiling speaker in the middle: Klipsch CDT 3800 C II - Sub woofer: Klipsch R 110 SW - Monoprice 16 gauge for speaker - Monoprice 6 ft co-axial for subwoofer - Banana Plugs Our typical usage would be to watch movies, play games, parties etc. Would love to hear your thoughts on this configuration, particularly if the speakers, sub woofers and receiver are aligned well with each other. Is anything an overkill or can be simplified? Thanks, Arun
  8. I have an Onkyo tx nr656, it has a sub hook up, and a sub pre out hookup, which one do I use and do I split the cable to connect to the r and l of the sub? Thanks in advance.
