  1. Hi All, Not sure if this has been covered here but I wanted to get views and opinions from you guys on how much speaker can I get for $2000 budget for 2 channel audio? I currently have no specifics other than it should be a. full range / room filling (my room size is about 8m x 5m) b. dynamic and c. refine sounding (which presents music as a whole and does not call attention to itself) Please feel free to chime in your "want speaker list" or "have/had speaker list" for this budget. Offers are welcome as well Thanks in advance - cris
  2. Greetings all, Seeking consensus regarding using a high pass or full range for my subwoofer. Two different techs at the subwoofer manufacturer garnered two different responses. McIntosh rep says high pass. Seems to me on a "common sense" level that filtering all that signal through the sub , then back to the main amp would degrade that "McIntosh sound". Thank you in advance. I don't know much but I'm learning. System: McIntosh MA5200 100 watt Heresy III speakers SBS SB-2000 500 watt, 1100 peak
