  1. Seeking advice for converting HDMI (X-Box) output to RCA (Analog) audio input for home theater. I'm using a Yamaha RX-V861 AV Receiver but would like to use my older equipment to power my La Scala's (Harman Kardon 430 or Dynaco Mark III's) for better sound. My video can accept any input. Or suggestions on a better sounding amplifier that has HDMI input. I'm new to the forum. Thanks!
  2. I just purchased a new Apple TV 4K and have it plugged in to HDMI 1 on the HD Wireless hub. While 4K connectivity works, I'm not able to pass an HDR signal through the hub to the TV. If I plug my Apple TV directly in to my LG TV it works fine. I did a little digging, and from what I'm seeing HDR requires HDMI 2.0a, but the specs on the RP-HUB1 only show it supporting HDMI 2.0. Am I missing anything, or is it true the hub will not pass through HDR content? Has anybody else run into this? If so, it seems like quite a limitation. Perhaps something that will be addressed in a firmware update?
  3. Guys Gals what are you using for receiver to projector in-wall HDMI category 2 Cable? The standard seems to say under 10M. Blue Jeans has premium BJC Series-1 Belden Bonded-Pair HDMI Cable that they say is good for these runs but its like $120. http://www.bluejeanscable.com/store/hdmi-cables/hdmi-cable.htm Monoprice has redmere active cable for $50 for similar lenghths. http://www.monoprice.com/Search/Index?keyword=luxe+series+hdmi what do you all use for these lengths? Active or Passive? I am concerned that if the active electronics fails, I have major in wall wiring access problems to fix or replace the cable. Thanks
