  1. Hello. I am in need of (2) Passive Subwoofers for a pair of KG4. Anyone have them besides Ebay? Thanks!
  2. Hello, I'm forced to change my amp in following "desktop" setup: notebook -> Audioquest Dragonfly v1.2 -> Wireworld Luna 7 -> Denon PMA-720 AE -> Oehlbach Bi-tech 4 -> Klipsch RB-81 II. My budget for amp is 550 € (610 $). Local dealers offer mostly Cambridge Audio, Marantz, NAD, Yamaha and Onkyo. Any recommendations? I'm also considering a DAC upgrade. Something like Cambridge Audio DAC Magic Plus would be nice. Do you think it's a good idea or should I look for more expensive amp with build-in DAC instead? One way or another I need to buy a USB cable... Any advices regarding a cable company with reasonable prices considering my budget and setup. As for genres. I'm listening to all of them
  3. So I have a Onkyo TX-SR706, I thought of upgrading to a TX-NR555 would that make a difference? I have R28F's and a R25C connected to it so far that's all.. or should I get R15M bookshelfs for my rear surrounds?
  4. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16886200062&utm_medium=Email&utm_source=IGNEFL042517&cm_mmc=EMC-IGNEFL042517-_-EMC-042517-Index-_-HomeAudioSpeakers-_-86200062-S2A5B&ignorebbr=1 This seems like a smokin deal for a bedroom system or maybe a kids room set up. Only $69 a pair and free delivery through Newegg today for a pair of Klipsch RB-10 bookshelf speakers.

Please contact me with any questions, thank you!KG 4.2 - i am the sole owner....cosmetically 7.5-8/10, functionally great......rubber feet/spikes included - $175KM 2 - the military version of the KG 1.5.......i bought these off craigslist 3 years ago......i actually never used them as i never went to 7.1.....functionally great, cosmetically 9/10 (1 very small minor white spot on each top) - $75KV 3 - i am the sole owner, cosmetically 8/10 (minor spot at top of grill and minor scuffing on bottom), functionally great - $60 Or $300 for everything.
  6. Hello there. I recently purchased the Klipsch Reference Premier RP-280F speakers and wish to BI-AMP them to my Onkyo AV Reciever. TX-SR805. I purchased these in hopes of BI-AMPing to increase front power. The problem is the cabling. I originally was going to buy this Gotham SPK 8.25mm cable pair but they went out of stock. (see image) Does anyone have any other recommendations on cabling that would be equivalent or know a source for this cable other than Amazon? Thanks!
  7. Just to share my experience. I just replaced my K-77M driver-to-horn gasket with the "Garlock Style 3000 Blue-gard compressed non-asbestos" sheet gasketing (1/32 inch thickness). I could hear the improvement especially (at least to my hearing) it eliminates the high-end distortion that usually heard whenever I maximised the treble gain on my pre-amp (I'm using VTA-12 tubes pre amp). Does anybody has the same experience by replacing their K-77 driver-to-horn gaskets especially when there are NO aftermarket gaskets for K-77M driver-to-horn? My Cornwalll is the 1981 version with all original stocks and Bob Crites' B2 crossovers inside. Cheers, Jimmy
  8. I recently purchased (4) RF7II to replace my wides & fronts that are currently RF82II. These are in fully dedicated theater. I have RB61II as my surrounds and figured why not use the RF82II as surrounds. I was planning on putting them on a 20"'enclosure and tilt them slightly with a slanted isolation pad and this will put them at 62". My question is, will it be okay to tilt these slightly? I have never tilted a floor standing speaker. My reasoning is to have surrounds in same place as bookshelves where (62") and aimed slightly down above ear level. I can't put them on floor at ear level bacuse my 2nd row of seating is on 10" riser to see over 1st row that is on 6" riser. If I can't tilt I will mount them at 48" (middle tweeter) so tweeter is slightly (2") above 2nd row setting. And 4" above 1st row setting. So tilt or no tilt guys?
  9. I have for sale a beautiful pair of RF52ii and also an RC52ii. Pictures of both are available below. The RF52ii were purchased locally from a musician about 6 months ago. They are in near-perfect condition and I cannot find a scratch on them, cones are perfect. One one speaker binding post, one of the caps (red) to a binding post are missing. I purchased them this way and honestly it doesn't need it so I never got a replacment (which is about $0.50). Operationally perfect, cones and the rest are perfect. The RC52ii was purchased from another Klipsch forum member. In near perfect condition with a few minor scratches hard to even see. The foot was missing so I added a screw with a soft pad added to it. Which I find has worked even better than Klipsch's foot. I will include this with the speaker. Cones and the rest are perfect and it performs perfectly. Cherry RF52ii Pair: $350 Black RC52ii: $150

Running on about 22 hrs awake (fairly normal for a Wed/Thurs).See my wife off to work, decide to check Craigslist for some Forte's (cheap ones fit my budget). Find the following post: http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/ele/6045363894.html WHOA!!! Looks like Cornwall I for $450!!!! Slightly distressed, but right in my wheelhouse! Send an e- mail and get ready for bed. I pad dings, look at e- mail, and seller says may be seen before 1300 today, and there has been lots of interest. (Sorry, retired military) Call Muldoon and say I'm of my way. (Hope they fit in the Pimpmobile ((2000 Volvo S-700))) Hit the ATM. BOOGIE. Hit traffic onna 101. Schvitzin'. Get to Indian School Rd and 82nd street. Realize I don't have the address. Call Muldoon and ask for address. No answer. Turn on street on Google maps and park. Wait. Wait. Call again. No answer. Grind teeth. Wait. Guy walks up to car and sez "Are you the guy from Chandler? I just sold them. So many people called I didn't know who was who." Le Wah!!!! Oh, well I still have a lovely wife of > 30 yrs, who puts up with my varied manias and five children who are good citizens and six grandchildren who think that I'm OK. And a line on some Forte's I can afford. Le Wah. Any how there are still many components for any in the Phoenix metro area who may be interested, and if the price on the Cornwall speakers is an indication, there are bargains to be had. Happy Hunting JBCODD

  14. Hey everyone! So I just ordered a R-115sw and after doing some measurements it would probably work better for space issues if I had the R-112sw instead. If anyone has a R-112sw and wants to upgrade I would like to trade. If not, I'll do fine with the R-115sw and have to manage . Anyways, your used R-112sw + $250 for my brand new sealed R-115sw. I am located in Southern California. Thanks for reading!!
  15. Hi guys just like the title says... I'll entertain new or used. If you have another sub you have had great experience with that you are selling I will look at those too! Thanks everyone
  16. Jim, Can you tell me what I have here? I acquired a really nice pair of old Klipsch speakers in huge ornate wooden cabinets. They look like they were used in an auditorium or something. They work great. Can you help me find out more about them like year mfg., age, model, purpose, value, rarity, collectability ? Here's a pdf link with a bunch of more pictures. http://montereymusicclub.com/klipsch/klipsch.pdf I'm being told they're home made cabinets and Klipsch never put out anything like this. They were definitely made by a cabinet shop, not home made. They're a matched set, the cabinet work is A1 and there's no evidence there was ever anything else inside them to think they used to be something else. Each of the back of the horns have a Klipsch tag; PK K-55-V / serial #10035 and #10041. There is a Klipsch id strip on the bottom edge of the electric board that says Type A. What would that mean? Who likely made these and is there any way to trace the history via the above serial numbers ? Thank you, Gary Smith
  17. I have recently bought the Klipsch Home Theater RP-F280 system. I am planning to drive them using a Yamaha RX-V781. The speakers are 8 ohms and rated at 150w RMS/600w Peak while the Yamaha Amp delivers 95w RMS at 8ohms. Is it a good match? 95% of people told me it's ok but then came along a connoisseur and said that having a lot of head room will blow a tweeter or two at high volumes as the amp will struggle and send clipped wave forms that can damage or will probably damage my speakers. I really need some expert advise Thanks
  18. Hello Community =) i attached my plan for a home theater what do you say about it? btw. the sw 12s are under my couch
  19. Hello Everyone: Just joined today because of a problem that i hope someone can help me with.1 Tweeter in my Klipsch LaScala is not working,i am the 2nd owner and i have have them about 10 years no problems until now.Is there any repair places to send it to to make sure it is the speaker itself, solder problems? 21. Hi! I'm completely new to all of this, and would appreciate any information you all can provide I got a pair of Klipsch R-15M Bookshelf Speakers and it requires an amp/receiver, so I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions that might work best with the R-15M? (I plan to purchase the amp through Amazon if possible) Links would be helpful too! Thank you so much!
  22. Do Klipsch Surround Speaker RP-250S is Di-Pole or Bi-Pole ?
  23. Hey i want to buy a new Home theater.. i have a Denon AVR X1300 and want to buy 2 x Klipsch RP250f, 2 x klipsch R12SW, 2x R15M, 1 RPrp440c are those components fit well? sorry for my bad englisch
  24. I'm currently running an all Klipsch 7.2 setup for my home theater and have been looking at upgrading my current AVR to take advantage of the new sound mixes now available (ie. Atmos, DTS:X, Auro 3D). I have been doing lots of research all over and I'm having a very hard time making a decision. I am needing some recommendations from all of you but I'd like to avoid "fanboy" recommendations. I know this may sound silly or somewhat counter-productive when asking for recommendations, but I want the advice to be based on both the kind of hardware I am currently running and also on objective information. Just because someone has always purchased a specific brand for 20+ years should not be the only reason/justification as to why they recommend it. I know MANY of you have a wealth of knowledge; far more than me, on what the pros and cons are of various brands/models and can also explain objectively what I can expect with a certain option. I also am not looking to go crazy expensive with flagship models and because of this, going with brands like Anthem or Emotiva are probably out of the equation. As of recent, I have been entertaining Pioneer, Marantz, and possibly Onkyo again (not Integra just because it's Onkyo with nothing other than a different name and higher price). My concern with Onkyo has been there prolonged history of bad boards having faulty HDMI outs (seems like this is going on like 5 yrs, yes?). I will add though that my only experience has been Onkyo - I've been pleased with the sound but wouldn't know what I am potentially missing out on since I have not heard another brand. And in doing my research I have found many mixed review regarding some of their recent models (ie. 646, 656, 747, 757), and many people stating that the build quality has gone down hill. Is this really so? So, here is my current setup to give you all an idea: Klipsch RF-7ii (L/R) Klipsch RC-64ii (C) Klipsch RS-62ii x4 (SS/RS) Klipsch RW-12D x2 (subs) Onkyo TX-NR709 AVR Oppo BDP-103D I was hoping to keep my budget under or around $800 if possible and I would prefer NOT to go with separates due to the fact that I have a very clean setup with a very open/minimalistic look, and I don't have any more space in the console I am using that was just recently purchased. Thanks everyone, really appreciate your help! ~Cheers
  25. https://lasvegas.craigslist.org/ele/5978009102.html No affiliation but this guy is on the Emotiva forum and he let me know he is selling these. He moved into a smaller house and needs to free up some space. Seems fair
