  1. Hi guys! I had this subwoofer for 4 days and yesterday when i played playstation, i heard a weird crackle and pop from the subwoofer. After that, it stopped working. There was a green light on it, but no sound. I removed the powercord for 5 minutes, and now, everytime i plug in the power this happens. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=983QxAEIF3w Everytime, the element gets sucked in and the green light lights up whenever it does it. And it does this 3.4 times until it shuts completely off. No green light anymore until i remove the powercord and plug it in again. Any idea what causes this? Should i just deliver it back and get a new one?

  12. I purchased the ST-120 kit without the tubes from Bob Latino, shipping was fast and everything was very well packed and organized into neat sections. Instructions are very clear and concise. the entire kit went together in about 10 hours just like estimated. Anyone with decent soldering skills and some patience can do this kit. I enjoyed the whole assembly process, very satisfying to get to fire it up when finished and hear just how the work paid off. I was having a problem getting any kind of voltage readin from the bias pins and sent Bob a email he was able to quickly help me check some connections and voltages. He identified the issue very quickly, I had placed a connection in the wrong place. I got very lucky it didn't cause any major issues. Very good customer service though he really knows his amps! The sound of this amp is just beautiful, crips highs and nice deep lows. Now I have it connected to the pair of stock 1982 Klipschorns I recently acquired, they make quite the match made in heaven. Way more than enough power for me, I was worried I would be pushing the 60 watts per channel to the limit. Boy was I wrong, I haven't moved it much past one o'clock (half volume) for my daily listening. If I wanted to shake the paintings off the walls this amp could probably do it. I got the 21 step attenuator and it's just perfect for playing straight from a DAC without a preamp. I can't get over how this amp sounds every instrument sounds very real, like the artists are standing in the room playing in front of me. Truly a wonderful amp and experience. Someday if I decide to upgrade to the monoblocks I know I will go right back to Bob at www.tubes4hifi.com for them.
  13. Selling RSW15 and pair of RS7 surround speakers. RSW15...2 minor surface scratches on RSW15 on top less than 1/2" long. Speaker screen mounting posts were broken but repaired with epoxy. Works perfectly. $800 RS7... never used, one nick on top surface of one RS7 less than 1/8". $500 for pair
  14. I have a beautiful RSW-15 in black available for sale. It is in terrific shape, has some minor scratches, one small imperfection, 2 missing grill pegs, and is otherwise in great shape. I purchased this subwoofer from another member in the forum and would like to sell it to another member in the forum to "pass it on." I have tested it extensively, and it works 100%. I added feet to this sub, as it came without feet. Some scratches on the bottom are there most likely due to the lack of feet. I did some light touchup on them in order to make the appearance as perfect as possible. The member who had it before me took excellent care of it, and I have also. It has absolutely no performance issues and plays loud, low and clear. Asking $750 for the RSW-15. I enjoy getting to know and meet the members here. Please be friendly! I look forward to creating a win-win here My track record is not long here but I am 100% honest and forthcoming. Feel free to ask any questions or request additional pictures of any part as needed. I am located in Chicago, Illinois, in the far north part of the city. Easily accessible for anybody, safe and parking is not a problem where I live. Cheers, Roboklipsch
  15. Hi there! First post here. Just picked up a beautiful pair of KG4s, brought them home... and what would you know my receiver is acting up. I was fiddling with it to try and figure out what was wrong, heard a loud pop, and when I later tested the speakers with a friend's functional Yamaha receiver one of the drivers had no sound coming out. So I'm desperately looking for a K8K Replacement! I have seen threads where people suggest clones, but haven't heard back about any experiences and would really rather keep them OEM. Does anyone have any K8Ks lying around or know where to get some? Worst case scenario, anyone have experiences with whether the 'clones' are up to par? Really want to get these amazing speakers back to working condition. Thanks!

  17. Hi! I'm completely new to all of this, and would appreciate any information you all can provide I got a pair of Klipsch R-15M Bookshelf Speakers and it requires an amp/receiver, so I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions that might work best with the R-15M? (I plan to purchase the amp through Amazon if possible) Links would be helpful too! Thank you so much!
  18. I have for sale a beautiful pair of RF52ii and also an RC52ii. Pictures of both are available below. The RF52ii were purchased locally from a musician about 6 months ago. They are in near-perfect condition and I cannot find a scratch on them, cones are perfect. One one speaker binding post, one of the caps (red) to a binding post are missing. I purchased them this way and honestly it doesn't need it so I never got a replacment (which is about $0.50). Operationally perfect, cones and the rest are perfect. The RC52ii was purchased from another Klipsch forum member. In near perfect condition with a few minor scratches hard to even see. The foot was missing so I added a screw with a soft pad added to it. Which I find has worked even better than Klipsch's foot. I will include this with the speaker. Cones and the rest are perfect and it performs perfectly. Cherry RF52ii Pair: $350 Black RC52ii: $150

  20. Cleaning out a storage unit and found these! I know nothing about them, I'm not really an audio guy but I figured I should ask you guys about them before I move forward with them. I am looking to sell and located near Seattle. If you guys can give me any advice on what to check for/what I should price them at I'd be very curious to know. Bit dusty and missing outer cabinets? But the components look to be in good shape. Any help you guys can give would be awesome! Thanks in advance! RJ
