  1. The Set-Up So, I just made the switch from the pathetic world of sound-bars and switched 😎 to A/V Receiver + x2 (Klipsch's RP-8060FA) Floor-standing Speakers (R/L - 150W RMS / 600W Peak) + (x1 (75W RMS/300W Peak) Center Speaker + x2 (45W RMS) Surround Back (R/L) speakers + x1 (150W) 10" Sub [taken from the Klipsch Reference Cinema Bundle]). All of my speakers from by Klipsch. We are going to use the system for both movies and music. Challenge: I'm looking for a solid A/V Receiver to connect my entire system to, utilizing the full capabilities of the speakers, but also being smart and cost effective. Right now, I'm thinking about getting the Denon X3700H + getting a 200W amp to connect the pre-out of the Denon receiver to. And all of these speakers are going to be connected using 16 gauge OFC wire and banana plugs. My Questions: What's the most cost effective, high-quality approach to accomplishing this? Is the Denon X3700H Receiver the right way to go? What amp should I purchase? Is there anything else I should think about investing into to that can enhance the performance of my system? Any and all advice is welcomed and appreciated! Disclaimer: I'm super green into this field right now (like, 2 days in - 2 calls to Klipsch customer support and several YouTube videos of knowledge now).
  2. Crown Power Line Four power amp, Straight Line Two preamp & FM Two tuner. Very good condition, a few nicks & scratches around the rack ears-nothing serious. $1,200 obo. For local pickup only in Los Angeles.
  3. Hi everyone, new to this forum, but I am also new to Klipsch so I guess it makes sense. I did a lot of research on a good bookshelf speaker for upgrading my record player setup (within my price range) and settled on the Klipsch R-15M. My current setup is a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon, into a Pro-Ject Phono Box MM, and as of now into a kind of crappy sound bar - so clearly pretty excited for these new speakers. I thought I was fine without any sort of power amp, but after revisiting I am not so sure. So, I was hoping you guys could clear up for me if I need any additional hardware to translate a 12 inch piece of black plastic into beautiful sound. Here are the components of my set up: Record Player: https://www.crutchfield.com/S-p1Fg9GSeAZ2/p_252DBCDCGR/Pro-Ject-Debut-Carbon-DC-Gloss-Red.html Pre-Amp: https://www.crutchfield.com/p_252PBMMB/Pro-Ject-Phono-Box-MM.html?tp=204&awkw=75621861865&awat=pla&awnw=g&awcr=47439160225&awdv=c&awug=9010962&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI6IP_ht_s2gIVBBgMCh0NBQPFEAQYAyABEgInzvD_BwE Future Speakers: https://www.crutchfield.com/S-mkYWglngIs7/p_714R15M/Klipsch-Reference-R-15M.html If I do need an amp to maximize this setup, I would love recommendations! Not too pricey though, I am definitely on a budget Thank you so much!!!
  4. Asking $995 with Free Shipping. The original Aleph sold for $3,000 and is out of production. Modified from the original design by Nelson Pass, this is the best sounding amplifier I've ever owned for Horn Based Speakers like Klipsch. Being a Single Ended Class A design, it will easily drive Khorns, LaScalas, Cornwalls, Heresy's, Chorus, and Forte speakers to ear splitting levels without clipping. It has double the output devices of the original (easy to do with MOSFETS). It's EXTREMELY revealing from top to bottom. Deep, tight bass, and Crystalline/delicate high end, but incredible midrange detail especially on female vocals like Diana Krall's. The original design was rated at 30 Watts per channel, this one is 40 Watts per channel because of double the output transistors and lower source impedance. It's front end impedance easily accommodates a Tube Pre-Amp for those who like tube sound. This is the closest you will get to tubes with SS. PM me here or eMail claudej1@aol.com. For serious buyers, I'll provide my phone number if you want to have a conversation about it.
