  1. So I recently got a pair of R-51PM's and when using the USB A to B cord with my desktop the audio has a 1-2 second delay with youtube, windows speaker test and volume ding when adjusting, movies and spotify etc. Is there a reason for this or am I doing something wrong?
  2. Long story short, I own two sets of R-51PM's, one for my computer and one for my TV. I had always run my computer set over USB on two different computers w/o issues. I recently moved, during setting back up my computer I grabbed the wrong set of R-51PM's and hooked them to my computer. They worked fine, but didn't have the rubber feet installed, so I swapped them out for the other set that did. The ones with the rubber feet were my computer set, they're on stands so the feet help keep them more secure. Shortly after this point I started having issues with my speakers. I would notice random times when my audio would drop and Windows 11 was doing something with devices. I tried BIOS updates, chipset driver updates, etc... Finally, and note there were some Windows updates around this time, my speakers stopped working. So I decided to check my USB cable and make sure it wasn't pinched or damaged in anyway. Didn't find any issues there, switch USB ports multiple times, etc... I even tried switching my main speaker, right one, back to the one for my TV. Now all I'm getting is this on a USB Composite Device: This device cannot start. (Code 10) STATUS_DEVICE_DATA_ERROR I've tried switching sets of R-51RPM's, tried different cables and ports for USB, and even tried hooking them to my wife's computer. I still always get the same error. I have done a factory reset on the speakers. If anyone else is experiencing these issues I'd appreciate any advice. Both set work perfectly over Bluetooth.
  3. Hello, I recently purchased the r-51pm and have not been able to pair them to receive bluetooth audio from the amazon echo dot 4th gen. Has anyone had success with this or know of issues with it? I have updated and reset both devices. Andf I have paired the Klipsch speakers successfully with an iphone and the echo dot with another bluetooth speaker. The amazon alexa app does not find the Klipsch speakers in pairing mode as an option while searching to link a new device. Thank you.
  4. I have a Audio Technica AT-LP60 turntable paired with my Klipsch R-51PM Bookshelf Speakers. My turntable and my speakers both have a built in preamp, so I can either select line on my turntable and line on my speakers to utilize the turntable's internal preamp, or phono on both to utilize the speaker's internal preamp. Does anyone know which will result in better sound quality?
  5. Hello, First let me preface this by saying I'm a complete newbie so I apologize if some of my terminology is wrong, or my explanation doesn't make sense. I had the Audioengine A5+ Wireless and while at first, they sounded a bit muddy to me I grew to love their sound and how it really surrounded you. Unfortunately, because of some nitpickiness I found a few issues with the A5+ that the Klipsch R-51PM shored up. Unfortunately, though while I love how crisp and clear stuff on the higher end is, they feel a bit empty by comparison - i.e., where the A5+ made it feel like I was surrounded by music the R-51PM didn't. I'm assuming this is an issue more about bass than anything, however I'm again new to this and don't know how much that would be affected by something like a subwoofer. With that said I come to my question... Would it be better to spend the ~400ish from the R-51PM and another ~300ish for the R-100SW which would be around ~700 or should I just get something like the RP-600M for ~600 with something like the Fosi Audio BT20A for about ~100 which would also be around ~700 (or if the RP-600M go on sale for cheaper then maybe something a bit more like the Fosi Audio DA2120D so that I can have a USB output as well for my PC). Originally, I was looking for powered speakers that would have as much functionality as possible but after getting a bit more comfortable from doing research about the cabling for something like an amp I thought it might be better to just get a nice pair of speakers and then add functionality through an amp or receiver and that it would be easier to upgrade the amp/receiver down the line than it would to add both as well as having to then add new speakers later on if I went with the R-51PM. I figured the RP-600M would be speakers I could keep more long-term since they're more about sound than features, whereas the R-51PM I was looking at from a more feature standpoint. So, I guess the question really is for the money which is better, the R-51PM with a subwoofer or the RP-600M without? I hear they are in two completely different leagues, but I'm curious just how much. Would the RP-600M have a fuller sound even over the R-51PM with the R-100SW subwoofer while still feeling clearer? Again, sorry about my terminology but I hope that makes sense. I'm still a newbie and just getting into this so I appreciate the help.
  6. Just got the R-51PM today and connected it with my turntable (Denon 300f) through a phono connection. The speakers play the actual audio extremely quiet except for some very loud pops, but once the sound introduces base the speakers are popping like crazy, the record itself does not seem to be the problem and the speakers wont connect via Bluetooth so I have no way of making sure
  7. I have a R-41 PM and a R-120SW connected to my TV via optical. When watching movies the dialogue is very Low compared to my 5 year old soundbar. The two channel setup has a much more immersive experience but how do fix the dialogue issue I am having? Any advice or tips? If these speakers are just built this way do you think higher end models like the R-51PM or the Fives might make a difference? Cheers Yash

  9. All I bought a pair of R-51PM speakers to use with my computer. The computer basically is my stereo. I play mp3's and CD's and watch livestream concerts. I am pretty advanced in the PC world due to my work, but not an expert at PC sound. I can connect the R-51PM's as follows: 1) Directly into the USB of my PC 2) Into the "stereo out" jack of my $40 gaming sound card (three-connector mini jack) 3) using the "digital out" (optical) jack of that same sound card I have tried 1 and 3 and I don't think I can hear a difference. I think that option 1 bypasses all sound cards and I think option 3 may bypass the soundcard as well. I am not sure here because the gaming sound card has analog out for stereo front, stereo back, center front/subwoofer. So the optical digital output may be some mishmash of those. I'm happy with the sound regardless but I would like to understand what actually is happening. Oh yeah, I could use Bluetooth, but I see no reason to do that. Thanks
