  1. Damaged cone, but functions normally. Great if you keep your grills on or just want to replace a speaker. It works perfectly and if you are not worried about how it looks, this is a great deal as I have it listed much cheaper than the damaged ones currently for sale online. Plus, I can demo this for you so you make sure you are satisfied with the performance before you buy. Buy with confidence as I have over 16 five star reviews on offerup, 70 on Letgo and over 50 on eBay. Fits:RF-3, RF-3 II, RF-35, RF-5, RC-7, RF-82 II I’m asking $20 for forum members. feel free to email me at djpilch@yahoo.com
  2. Got these on trade and while they sound and look great, I simply need need money. A couple of the Woofers have minor dents/blemishes which I suspect could be popped back from the back side but are not that bad at all, really. Cabinets, baffles and grilles, however, are satin black and really excellent and look beautiful - an easy 9/10 in my book. As stated, I'm in Cleveland and located near Hopkins Airport in North Olmsted. I am willing drive up to a few hours to meet (if necessary) and am also available any time. I'll be monitoring replies and have more images if interested! Thanks for looking. Open to partial trades for guy stuff - tools, smaller sub + bookshelves, laptops/game consoles/general electronics, car repair stuff, etc.
  3. Update. Got the same answer from Klipsch Norway as from the store where I bought them. The speakers have been played too loud with an amp not in total control Have had these for some years now and always had the frontgrill on the speakers. When I recently removed them I see these marks on the drivers/elements. Most on one of the speakers and a little on the other. It looks to me as the marks could have come from some loose small objects inside the speaker as they look pushed from inside, but I know that is not supposed to be possible. I have spoken to the guys at the store and one told me it could be that the speakers have been run to hard with an amp not in total control of the bass. I hear no difference in sound, the speakers play well. I have used an Emotiva pre and amp Xpa3. I have not played that loud but maybe the kids have. 😊 Have any other experienced similar?
  4. I want to upgrade my stereo and have read great things about oppo bluray 205 players. I listen to 2000+ cds and have been told this would work better for music. I had thought of upgrading the front speakers, but the Rf7s are too large. I have a Marantz 7007 receiver with an Emotiva Xpa3 amp for the front 3 speakers. I have reference matched set of, Rf82,Rc62, Rs53 and a 350 watt rxd12 sub. I don't play the music very loud but like a warm sound. I thought of getting Ohm Walsh 2000 front speakers as the Klipsch speakers that are better than the rf82s are too big. Does anyone have any thoughts. The main use of the system is home theatre .

  8. Hello, I would like to ask you for 2 questions... 1) how huge should be room for r115 sw? I got r110sw in 6x4 meters. Its really bone rattling booms shaking with my internal organs i got it only on 40%. I got lpf and in rcv 80-100hz. In tron movie about 42minutes its hardcored so i am afraid of r115. My friend has a r110 and smaller room and he cant reach my sound on 70%. I think its cause by room acustic. So should i go for r115? 2) how is your setups, is there any recommended setup? I got floorstands rf82 ii which is playing from 32hz i guess and i set it in RCV from 50hz, center 450c is from 60hz and surrounds rb61ii are from 50hz. Lpf is 80 sometimes 100. My setup is : front: rf 82 ii Center: 450c Surrounds: rb 61 ii Subwoofer: r110 sw Thanks a lot for advise.

  10. To start with please do not kill me.......... I know there is as ton of information regarding this topic. As I am still unable to decide on an amp and thus this topic I have Klipsch RF 82 paired with Marantz SR5008 AVR and strictly a 2.0 system at least for an year. I am fine with the Bass these speakers are emitting so no sub for now which deviates my itch to an amp. I have been on this set up since 7 months and was happy till I was cleaning my speakers and avr the other day where my eyes were stuck on to the pre out label on the avr and thus the "ITCH" for the power amp. I know I had an AVR with pre outs but never thought of upgrading until my eyes saw that section somewhat like when u see a babe with bikini on the street and your pants tell you to visit a strib club. Now to be brief on my listening preferences. It is 50% music and 50% movies in a 17x10 ft room. I use appletv for netflix and youtube. Macbook with toslink for music. sony bluray player for movies Budget: $500 max By reading previous topics i narrowed down some amps 1) Emotive XPA-200 2) parasound 2125(new classic) 3) parasound zamp 4) Emotiva XPA - 2 (little bit out of my range but will wait for july 4th to see if Emotiva starts any secret sale) But I would like like to add some more options to my list. Any advice will be appreciated. Note: I like the warm sound of that the marantz avr puts out. I tried an yamaha and denon before settling for marantz. Yamaha was to bright and denon was bright in some passages in movies. The above mentioned options seem like they output warm sound from what i have read.
  11. I'm moving to Houstion, Texas! I've learned that moving costs money (who knew?), so I need to liquidate some of my toys while I'm still in Rhode Island. A variety of factors has turned this into a quick sale, so my prices in bold are all negotiable and I'll definitely consider package deals. These are for pick-up only. I am selling: Pair of RF-82s in black- condition 8/10, the left tower has two small dings on the bottom cone. ($500/pr) RC-35 in black- condition 9/10 ($185) Elemental Designs A3-300- condition 9/10, I had to turn it off when I moved to this apartment, it nearly got us evicted. ($300) Walker Edison "Everest" Component Stand- 8/10, minor swirl marks on some shelves ($175) Oppo DV-980H- ($70) condition 8/10 - SOLD! The Panamax M5300-PM pictured has been sold before this posting. I also have a pair pf RB-61s on Sanus stands and a Yamaha RX-V1800. I was planning on keeping these pieces but if anyone would like to make an offer on the whole set as a true 5.1 deal, please feel free. I apologize for the "heavenly glow" in all of the pictures. We have two HUGE windows behind the equipment and that glow is there at all times. These pictures were taken at dusk, if you can believe that. I can upload any new pics as requested. Thanks!
  12. I am setting up my new system which consists of 2 RF82s as the mains and a RC-35 as the center. For surrounds I have a pair of RB-35s and a pair of RS-35s. My question is should the dipole RS-35s be used for the side surrounds or the back surrounds?
