I have three pairs of RP-140SA speakers in my 7.1.2 set up and I am having trouble with the crossover setting for the RP-140SA. According to the spec sheet, the frequency response for the speaker, "conforms to Dolby Atmos Specification." Apparently this is some secret thing because I can't find it anywhere, at least for home theaters. My pre/pro does the auto-eq routine but like most, it varies and sometimes the RP-140SA crossovers are calculated at 40Hz (yeah right!) and sometimes they are 120Hz + or - 40Hz. I don't know why it's some secretive thing, but it would be nice to know what the bottom range is so I don't over-drive them. Does anyone know what the low end of the frequency response is? I'm sorry to sound like this, but I just find it frustrating that this basic number isn't published on Klipsch's or Dolby's site.

If I had a pair of RR-41SA 's and a pair of RP-140SA's which should I use for ATMOS and which for SURROUNDS?

Hey All, Finally got my Klipsch 5.1.2 HT ready to roll. I purchased the following and loving it so far. Klipsch RP-250F Fronts Klipsch RP-250C Center Klipsch RP-150M Surround Klipsch RP-140SA Atmos Klipsch R-112SW Subwoofer Pioneer Elite VSX-LX301 I was wondering what the optimal crossover point. I have everything set to 80hz right now. I don't feel much movement from the 5.25" drivers. Is that normal? Does anyone suggest a better crossover for these speakers? Thanks Drew

I have Polk Audio [LSiM 707 (as Front Main), LsiM 703 (Front High), LsiM 706 (Center), LsiM 702 F/X (Surround)] in my 7.2 systems. I would like to know if RP-140SA as atmos speakers matches above system (particularly for Lsim 707, note: its top surface is slightly curve not flat). Any your input will be highly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello, About a month ago I got 2 pairs of the RP-140SA Atmos speakers. My cats seem to have taken on a habit of abusing them however... I have since used a bunch of velcro tape to secure the speakers to the tops of the other speakers so the cats don't knock them down, and I also discovered that I have to secure the grilles down as the cats manage to knock the grilles off when only connected with magnets. Anyway, during this phase of trying to 'cat-proof' the things, yesterday I discovered that a cat claw managed to slit the rubber surround of one of the speakers when they removed the grille. The woofer itself is undamaged, but there is a hole in the rubber. These seem to be enclosed speaker cabinets by design however now mine is not enclosed. I'm not exactly sure what I should do about this, if I should do anything about it. Is there a recommended procedure for fixing such a thing? Should I see about getting a replacement woofer? Is this important? Thanks
