  1. I will of course work with Forum members on a deal on these. Good working order and decent looking although they have traveled and have had a corner or two knicked over the years but very presentable. In the West Palm Beach area in south Florida.
  2. Bought here several years ago. After receiving, realized that the low end was almost non-existent, and the cab's had a couple blems that were not disclosed to me at time of sale. Oh well, they were going out in the shop/man cave anyway so appearance not that critical, but they HAD to sound good ! So after searching the tech articles etc, ended up installing ALK extreme slope networks, Dave's Fast Lane horns, and Crites tweeters. Now they probably sounded better than new !! I spent at least as much on the rebuild as I originally paid for the speakers. Fortunately for some lucky person out there, I no longer need these and they are looking for a new home. Cab's are fair/decent, electronically excellent. All original parts come with. Mores pic's available on request. Asking $2200
  3. Pair of vintage Heresy speakers, no damage, cabinet used acceptable condition, finish may not be original. Grill covers also unknown to be original. Serial numbers date to 1975. Located in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Local pick-up, or can meet up to 50 miles away. $325
  4. SOLD: First time ever offered for sale since I purchased them from Audio Ventures which is located in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Upgrades are all Bob Crites, specifically the B&K Sound titanium tweeter diaphram replacements, and the B & K Sound crossovers with full board replacements. Since owning them, I have discarded the original Quartet boxes I bought them in, so this pair is not available for shipping, but delivery will be considered in PM's only. If you are coming from a longer distance, send me a PM, and I will see if I can help subsidize your travel expenses. Upgrades are all Bob Crites, specifically the B&K Sound titanium tweeter diaphram replacements, and the B&K Sound crossovers with full board replacements. The cabinets are in as near perfect condition as I have seen in this series of Extended Heritage speakers. The Oiled Oak is all original, and has been maintained using Watco Rejuvenating Oil, and Howard's Feed N' Wax. The original grill fabric is the RARE special order Brown (20). This too is in top condition, with now flaws. The original factor riser bases are in great condition, and if you can detect a flaw, you have better eyes than me. All original parts are preserved in bubble wrap, and plastic shoe boxes and will be provided in the sale. I used these in mainly as my front main speakers, but the last few years, they were delegated to rear surround sound duty. I have gone through a series of upgrades and no longer can find any use for them, and see no future use for them either. Since then, I have stored them safely away in a spare bedroom. In my opinion these have a much higher value when you consider the condition, and higher WAF (Wife Acceptance Factor) due to the size and color combination that blends in better with a home decor. You could easily put them in any room in your house, including the most formal of spaces. The price I have listed is simply a reflection of the speakers, the condition, and the upgrade cost. I am loosing a substantial amount of money that I have invested in these Quartets selling them at this highly discounted price. These do not compare with the other unmolested, all original stock condition pairs you find at lower prices, so don't try it. Serious buyers can have all the photos they want. Sorry Klipsch community forums restrict photos to 2MB so the details on here will not be enough to show the level of condition. I will email the highest resolution photos I can take.

  13. I have decided to let my LT-30 go , it is not being used as much as it should . This TT is fully functional , the tonearm belt has been replaced , cold solder joints touched up , lights that needed replaced when I purchased it also have been done , it is a plug and play unit . The dustcover is not original but I like the smoked one that's on it plus the feet are not original . I would give the unit a 8.5 on cosmetics because of a few minor small marks . It did not come with the original headshell but it has the original 45 adapter and the always lost extra counter weight . I will sell it with or with out the cartridge which is a AT15xe with a Shibata stylus . Sorry I will not ship this one so if interested it is set up in my system to demo Selling for 700
