I lucked out and got a Klipsch KP-301 used for a few hundred bucks ! Since I have 2 Cornwalls, I figured it would be easier to build a 3rd as my center channel rather than buy a pair and store one (this is my first quasi-build). The components are identical to the CW + Chorus 2 but rated for 400w. I plan on mounting drivers from the front as well! My friend is helping me build these since I’m awful at woodcraft and I need to know the following: 1. Is the woofer on the Corns flush mounted or sunken/recessed? 2. Do the midrange and tweeter horns protrudes or are they sunked/recessed for a flat face? 3. How thick is the grill frame? 4. Below are the plans I’m utilizing. If we cut a hole per the specs, how much of a recessed edge do we need for each component? Any and all help is very appreciated and I’m stoked to show you guys how it turns out!

Hi Everyone, I have just started to learn about home theatre I am planning to start building it with the 3 front channel speakers. Eventually I wanted to make it 7.1.4 Dolby atmos in future But I am not sure which speaker should I be going for considering the room size ( 10 ft. wide * 15.6 ft. long * 9 ft. height) Based on various reviews I wanted to go with Klipsch speakers but not sure which model to go for since there are various models available Please spare your thought on the speaker selection and AV receiver

I have a buddy that wants to do some bartering for a pair of Mirage 5si speakers in great condition. I will need to trade some gear that is worth no less than $700 to me to get them, so that is what I will consider their value to be. Local pickup only and I would also be happy to trade them for an amplifier and something else. I am looking for a Adcom 555 or a multi-channel amp to pair up with my Parasound AV preamp. But I am wide open to suggestions and offers that may go in other directions...... What do you have, let's make a deal? Speakers I have, but I could sure some quality components. Jon

I purchased my promedia 2.1 speakers back in march and they got here last week and it all seemed to be going well until i noticed yesterday that they were emitting a low humming sound. Now today i was faced with a new problem when i was testing out the headpone jack on the right speaker when i took it out the right channel stopped working but the humming sound still comes from both speakers. Now the only speaker that technically works is the left one.

Wanted to give my fellow Klipsch owners a chance to get a Klipsch rp450c, I started it low to build more interest. I loved everything about these speakers, but it has always been a dream of mine to have a complete custom designed home theater system, so I'm slowly doing it one at a time, starting with the center channel. This 450c is in perfect shape. ebay.com/itm/313003262223

I was recently given a pair of Klipsch R83 speakers. NOT the floor model speaker, RF83, but a bookshelf speaker, however, I can find no information at all anywhere on this model of speaker. Can anyone tell me about it? (year(s) of manufacture, specs etc.) Thanks.

Hi Klipsch community, I recently purchased RSB-14 sound bar, with 2 RW-1 Wireless speakers. To set up a surround system with the bar and the RW-1 speakers, you need in first place to work on some FW updates (http://assets.klipsch.com/files/Stream-Surround-Update-TechBulletin-v06.pdf) For the RSB-14, no issue at all, you can download the binary file and use the USB interface on the bar. Worked like a charm. However, for the RW-1 speaker you have to download the “Klipsch RW-1 Utility Stream" Update app for android or apple. And follow the steps... here start the issues. => The update application never find my speakers, and it stuck on the screen "Searching for device", this may take few minutes ;-D .. I let the app running for 1 hour, still did not find my speakers.. I followed every steps very carefully: wifi set up & speaker in update mode. I've also double checked my network config: - Both speakers are seen by my network ( I can access it with their IP address on a web browser). - I've tried DHCP IP address and then put a static IP address.. same issue - I've tried with the speaker wired on my network: same - I've tried a factory reset on the speaker and start the process again. same issue For info, the speaker in stand alone works fine on my network with the klipsch play-fi application.. I also tried to put both of it on stereo mode, and it worked great.. so my router and network set up seems to work OK.. If anyone already experienced the same issue and found how to resolve it, many thanks for sharing ! Cheers,

Hi, I have a pair of RF-35 floor speakers and unfortunately my son knocked one of them over sideways and the rear foot broke off. I have no idea where to get this part or even if parts are still available. Unfortunately, the speaker is unstable now (it is sitting on carpet) and I really don't trust it to stay upright on 3 feet. Can somebody point me in the right direction to get a replacement foot?

For Sale - Vintage Klipsch Cornwall Speakers (2) - (S Code - 1978) I have never hooked them up, but the components look like they are in great shape. The woofers move freely without obstruction. Cabinets could use refinishing but are in great structural shape (thought about doing it myself, but didn't want to prevent collectors from being able to restore in a certain way). Paper residue on back of cabinet could easily be removed with a degreaser (again didn't want to interfere with restoration). Cash Only and Northwest Arkansas pick up only. Text interest to (479) 685-7295 . ThanksRuss

I bought this pair of speakers to use for the RCA output from a Roland DJ-202 USB DJ controller. The speaker connection seems simple.. RCA out from controller to RCA in on the right speaker. Then use the regular speaker wire to connect the right speaker to the left, passive speaker. I have them hooked up like that, set the switch on the right speaker to"line" (tried as phone but was very distorted and still no sound from the left speaker. Is there something simple I may be overlooking? To troubleshoot I changed the source to use the AUX input from my phone. The right speaker sounds great, but still nothing from the left side. I re-seated the speaker wire a few times in troubleshooting.\ Any advice anyone? Scott

I have Klipsch Promedia 2.1 speakers that I've bought from 2 years ago and I've been using them frequently ever since. Recently, the right channel speaker sometimes works, and sometimes it doesn't. I noticed yesterday that when I plugged the power cable of the subwoofer (to which the speakers are connected to), the right channel speaker was working for a while like it should, then it stopped. Also, I've also noticed both speakers have a low buzzing sound, and the buzzing sound doesn't go away regardless of changing the volume. But I really just want my right speaker to work again. And by the way, I am not a sound techie so I won't understand a lot of tech jargon. I know that there are so many places to start, but if anyone can help me out with what I should do from the information I just gave, that would be awesome! Thanks!

Hi All, Not sure if this has been covered here but I wanted to get views and opinions from you guys on how much speaker can I get for $2000 budget for 2 channel audio? I currently have no specifics other than it should be a. full range / room filling (my room size is about 8m x 5m) b. dynamic and c. refine sounding (which presents music as a whole and does not call attention to itself) Please feel free to chime in your "want speaker list" or "have/had speaker list" for this budget. Offers are welcome as well Thanks in advance - cris

I have a pair of Forte speakers that I purchased a few months ago. They were working perfectly and sound great, but recently the right channel speaker started to output very low volume. To be clear, there is signal. I hear the sound, but it is very low. There is no issue with the source, amp, preamp, or wiring. I tested all of them. There were a few occasions when a phone was connected to the soundsystem using a 1/8 inch jack while the system was powered. This causes a loud pop to come through the speaker. Is it possible that something "burned" when this happened? How do I troubleshoot the speaker itself? I appreciate any advice. Thank you!

I have a pair of LaScalas IIs at my parents house in South Florida (please see separate post regarding sale of 1994 LaScala's). If I do not sell them, it would mean driving them out of FL in a rented SUV, van, or pick up truck vs shipping them. I assume various folks here have shipped large speakers like these via one of the freight companies before. Old Dominion, Con Way, are some companies that I have heard of. Likely for palletized freight. Any suggestions regarding shipping / freighting La Scalas? Also, any potential discounts to use. Thx in advance From Nola with love

Hi everyone, So my friend who is moving overseas has gifted me his old Klipsch floor standing RF - 35's after years of making fun of my Yamaha HS5's.... While this might be basic knowledge on these forums, this is the first time that I have owned passive speakers so I literally have no idea what I'm looking for in an amplifier. The speakers will be used solely to play vinyl records off of 2 X Technic SL1200 record players that are already hooked up to a Pioneer DJM400 mixer (I believe this acts as a preamp?) in my living room. Friends have been telling me that i should invest in a valve/tube amplifier as it will best bring out that vinyl sound - whilst other people have been telling me I should go solid state as it will be more affordable and it will help bring out the bass in the RF35's which can sound too bright(?). Any advice, guidance, recommendations from some seasoned audio/klipsch veterans would be genuinely appreciated and welcomed :).

hi guys, i got a pair of RS-42II which i need to mount in my bulk head. My room is situated in a way where i can't place them anywhere else. Now, i don't know which mount is perfect for that.. could one of you recommend something for me? Also, if i do mount it high up there and point it downwards, will i be missing out?? I have attached pictures of my room and setup. Speakers need to be mounted up top. Currently i have them sitting on the ledge, but i don't want them there as it' doesn't look good. The speaker takes those 2 holes which i've attached also.
