I have it to. For me, my biggest problem is that I clench my teeth. Especially, when I'm sleeping. Some mornings I'll wake up and the ringing is pretty bad and my teeth will actually be sore. Have been trying to focus on not doing it, but it's such a pattern it's hard to break.
I had in mind CHEAP headphones that come plastic wrapped on a piece of cardboard. I tried several my daughter and her friends had a few years ago, and they were all terrible. Maybe they have improved; hope so. BTW, how much did your Sonys cost?
Tinnitus is like herpes, once you have it, tinnitus is very difficult to get rid of or, impossible. The old inner ear bones don't move as free just as some of the joints. This makes them easier to injure along with other things not functioning like they did when you were twenty. Old age is a monster in spite of how hard we try to fight it.
Got home a couple of hours ago after an 11 hour day of driving, loading, unloading of my first pair of La Scalas. Installed CT-120 tweeters and A-55G mids that conveniently arrived this morning. Had lunch with Mallette. I've had RF-5's, Cornwalls, H2's.. I very much like these new speakers and will be settled on them for quite a bit.
