  1. So I’ve got the PM 2.1 BT and the speakers stopped working…. I checked and everything is connected properly (all speakers, pre amp hub, and power). I unplugged and re-plugged everything. The subwoofer works and makes noise when connected, the pre amp hub also powers on and adjusts the volume and sub level as it should. But no volume to external speakers. And I mean not even a whisper. Any and all help is appreciated. I tried the Instructed “factory reset” and have not been able to successfully find a button or anything to do a full factory reset.
  2. Bought R15-PM recently from Circuit City. Everything works except the Bluetooth connection. When using either the volume switch or the remote, the systems goes into the right state with blinking blue light. However, the speaker is not visible as a bluetooth device on multiple Android phones or on a PC. I have tried removing all previous Bluetooth connection from all Android devices and repowered the speaker many times but to no avail. Am I missing something obvious here? I am using an Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and a Galaxy J1 ace and a Dell Latitude Laptop and these devices see each other but the Klipsch speaker is not visible.
  3. AUDIO EXAMPLE: https://voca.ro/1o0w1sLFWEQf Every now and then, the satellite speakers (Bluetooth) will start making this high pitched chirping or popping noise. I linked a recording of the noise above. This is a mild example. It often gets much louder and more frequent, and usually lasts for a minute until it goes away on its own. I may edit this post with another example in the future. We haven’t been able to figure out what’s causing this - any ideas about how to to fix this? It happens no matter what input: HDMI, Apple TV, Normal TV, etc., and seems to happen randomly. It’s incredibly annoying and painfully loud when at its worst. Any thoughts are appreciated.
  4. Hello, I recently purchased the r-51pm and have not been able to pair them to receive bluetooth audio from the amazon echo dot 4th gen. Has anyone had success with this or know of issues with it? I have updated and reset both devices. Andf I have paired the Klipsch speakers successfully with an iphone and the echo dot with another bluetooth speaker. The amazon alexa app does not find the Klipsch speakers in pairing mode as an option while searching to link a new device. Thank you.
  5. I just purchased the Pro-ject Phono E BT (V2.1, EDR) unit and works well with bluetooth speakers like the Bose Revolve. But to my disappointment I cannot connect this same BT to Klipsch 'The Fives' speakers (BT 5.0). I tried every trick and resets with no success. Anyone had the same issue and found a solution for this. Thanks in advance. JMagro
  6. Hello .... Can anyone help me here ... I have Klipsch R 51PM speakers with optical cable connected to TV thats ok now I want to add another two active in the oposite site of the room now I dont know how to pair them together must I buy bluetooth transmiter or something similar that this will work ? 🤔
  7. Is it possible to make my Promedia 2.1 BT play music coming via the audio cable and the bluetooth at the same time? The device stops playing music coming in from the audio cable as soon as it connects via bluetooth. On my older speakers I used to have my phone connected via BT and my PC via audiocable and it worked perfectly. Please help. I dont want to give up of these great speakers. (And sorry if this qnestion is already here but I cannot it anywhere.)
  8. Hi All I have the latest Bluetooth over ear reference headphones and the plastic bracket that holds the bottom of the padding is broken. This is completely broken on one side and cracked on the other side. So its clearly either a design flaw, faulty plastic or possibly over tightened screws during the manufacturing process. Is any one else able to confirm the same issue? I am being told these plastic parts cannot be shipped out to me and that I need to return the product from New Zealand to USA, then also that they cannot ship a replacement outside the USA. This seems crazy considering its a simple fix, all I need is two parts so that I can replace them, a couple of minutes work and the problem is fixed? Can someone please help take this further so I can get this issue sorted. Product is only two months old.
  9. I bought the Bar 40 soundbar recently and connected it to the TV via optical cable and have not been able to get any sound. I've tried all options including turning off the internal speakers on the TV and plugging into other components with optical ports and still nothing. I've tried the cable on my other sound system and its fine. So I updated the firmware as per the Klipsch Youtube video that is linked on the Klipsch offical site. Summary of video: Download firmware from site. Extract `system` folder onto blank USB. Unplug power to Bar 40. Plug in USB. Plug in power. Cycle Source until Source LED is blank. Wait until all LED turns off and starts to blink. Unplug power to Bar and remove USB. Plug power back. Multiple problems arise: 1. Klipsch remote control stopped working. I've tried new batteries but the Bar 40 does not respond to the remote control. 2. Bluetooth audio stopped working Bluetooth used to play media from the phones I connected to but the speaker does not play sound anymore. The source blue LED will be solid (meaning connected) but no sound comes through even when the volume is maxed on both device and speaker. 3. Optical still does not work. Still not audio coming from TV after firmware update. Tried turning off the speakers through TV settings, switched the digital audio format to both PCM and Digital, neither worked. Additional information: When I switch the source to optical, red LED will be solid for a second or 2 and then blink. This happens to the rest of the sources as well. (makes sense with bluetooth but not for optical)
  10. Quick question that all my best Google-fu did not manage to answer: what exactly is the difference between the "The One" and "The One II" (i.e. between the first and the second "model" of the "The One")? Does anyone know? Better bluetooth chipset? Any substantial difference?
  11. Big hello to all you KlipschManiacs out there, I've finally gotten my main 2 Channel system narrowed down and ready to really dial in. Currently the main system consists of Forte II's backed up with two REL T3 subwoofers to tackle and tighten the bottom end. They are driven by a Pass Aleph 30 (30 WPC) solid state amplifier connected with Soniquil speaker cables by Raven Audio and a Soniquil power cable to the amplifier section (plug #6) of an Audioquest Powerquest 2. For volume and switching duties I'm running a Classe' Audio Four Preamplifier to feed the Pass amp connected by Mogami Gold XLR's, connected to the Powerquest with a Cardas Cross power cable. For source components i have a Thorens TD 209, using Audioquest Evergreen RCA's (planning to upgrade) and Audioquest Saturn Ground Goody's, to connect to a Parks Audio Puffin, in turn connected to the preamp with Audioquest Evergreen RCA's (another soon to be upgraded interconnect). The Thorens is provided power by the powerquest and the Puffin is fed power by Furman Equipment For a CD/SACD source i'm awaiting an OPPO BDP-93 from another forum member (I'M STOKED, as i missed out on the Oppo offerings of the last 10-15 years). And finally, to the main point of this post, for a streaming source I utilize an Audioengine B1 Bluetooth Reciever/DAC connected to the preamp with Morrow Audio MA2 RCA Interconnects plugged into Furman gear for EMI/RFI filtration and clean power. The resolution and quality that the Audioengine gives me from Amazon Music HD and Ultra HD is nothing short of incredible. If you are not using a lossless audio provider for streaming music, like Amazon HD or Tidal, even for a mid-fi set up like mine you are doing yourself a great disservice. The quality is jaw dropping compared to streaming using any regular service. To that end I would like to know what streaming recievers and DACS you guys have experience with, and if there are any truly HIFI audiophile bluetooth receivers that are decently priced, (not looking to spend 1500$ 10,000$ 280,000$ like some audiophile gear can be) so looking in the 50$-800$ range. Also maybe a separate DAC that could take my AE B1 to the next level? Does anyone have any experience with the IFI Zen Blue? What about the Bludento BLT-HD? Is there an obvious unit that everyone here already uses and I'm just late to the party and need to be "enlightened"? Being able to pull from such a massive library like amazon music is an incredible convenience and while it won't replace my buying/collecting vinyl and cd's it is quite the way to demo music and access music with ease. Welcome to the 21st Century audiophiles! Also any thoughts/upgrade advice/suggestions on my system set up would be nice. My secondary system is Klipsch KLF-30's on a Yaqin MC13S (40WPC tube integrated) that i am currently gathering source components for. Thanks Guys! Rooster-
  12. I received my Klipsch R-15PM speakers yesterday and decided to try them out immediately by using the super convenient Bluetooth connection. I flipped the switch to turn them on and there’s this low static noise from the right speaker while on Bluetooth. This was even before I paired my phone, so I figured it must’ve been the sound of electricity or something and that it’d go away once I paired my device. I paired my phone and the noise was still there, even after starting a song. It’s slightly ignorable while playing a loud song, but it’s super obvious when listening to a more quiet, less involved song. Either way, it irks the heck out of me! I decided to try using the AUX connection with my phone next, and the noise wasn’t there, which leads me to believe it’s a Bluetooth issue. Is this normal behavior for the R-15PM's Bluetooth connection or do I have some defective speakers? Any troubleshooting tips?
  13. I just got a brand new R20-B soundbar, and I've connected a Bluetooth device to it. The problem is that if I change source to RCA, it switches back to the Bluetooth source after a few seconds. From what I can tell, what is happening is Switch source from Bluetooth to RCA The soundbar disconnects the Bluetooth connection The Bluetooth transmitting device tries to reconnect The soundbar reconnects to the device, and switches to Bluetooth automatically Is this the intended behavior? If so, this just seems poorly designed. Why would it switch to Bluetooth automatically when connecting? Or alternatively, why would it allow Bluetooth connections when the source is not set to Bluetooth? Effectively, I can't use the RCA or optical connections because the soundbar will constantly switch to Bluetooth.
  14. Hello, people! I’m a newly proud owner of The Sixes. After reading a zillion reviews, I opted to buy the Sixes. Never had the chance to hear them live before buying them. The question is that when listening via Bluetooth connection, the sound is sooooo low!!! I use Spotify and I’ve checked my sound settings (it all seems ok). I know that Bluetooth transmission lacks some quality and that Spotify itself is not lossless, but... OK, maybe I should try Tidal, but as I am a +4 year Spotify customer... I have connected an old Sony SACD player to the Sixes, using the optical cable, and the difference is HUGE!!!!! Here the sound is powerful and crispy! Can anyone please help me how to enhance Bluetooth sound? Am I doing anything wrong? (My main option is to use Spotify, not CDs nor vinyl) Thanks in advance to all of you! Cheers, Ernesto.
  15. I have a set of R5 headphones, I paired with iPad and can walk around the room with no problem. However, when I pair with iphone the connection drops or hiccups when I put phone in pants pocket. If I put phone in jacket or shirt pocket there is no problem. Please advise.
  16. I have an RSB-3 where the bluetooth works flawlessly. I saw where Klipsch was closing out the R-10B and thought I would upgrade. There were no more left through Klipsch so I ordered through Crutchfield. Received and the digital connection to the TV works fine as does the sub. When I attempted to connect my iPhone SE via bluetooth it paired but soon began cutting out and eventually became unintelligible. Crutchfield took the original back with no questions and send another. While not as bad as the first, it also cuts out. The phone is no farther than 10 feet from the bar. I've checked the technical knowledgebase and find no updates or other information. I see where others were having the same or similar problem so Klipsch has to be aware of the problem. I have two reference series earbuds (4/6), the RSB-3, and now the R-10B. This is the first time I've experienced any problems with any Klipsch product. If there is a flaw users would be ecstatic to get a firmware update or get credit towards upgrade to a newer RSB model if the problem can't be fixed.
  17. I have my new RSB-6 connected to my TV via HDMI cables and it does not work, no audio at all. I connected via Digital Optical and it works. Then I tried connecting my Iphone 6 via Bluetooth. NOTHING! I'm not used to Klipsch giving me such headaches. Any suggestions would be very helpful.
  18. I am trying to connect my computer to my R15-PM over the Bluetooth connection and my computer is asking me for the speaker's PIN. Has anyone had this issue? I can connect through other devices like my phone no problem and without a PIN. Thanks for any tips!
  19. We just received an excellent review on BusinessInsider.com for our Heritage Wireless "The One" speaker. People are taking notice that this thing is the real deal. This product stands far above the competition in audio quality and design. Check out the review: http://www.businessinsider.com/klipsch-the-one-bluetooth-speaker-review-2017-3
  20. I am having problems pairing my Groove with my Lenovo Yoga Laptop (which is only 9 months old). I had it paired at one point but it no longer will pair. I have tried doing the factory reset. Sometimes the computer recognizes the Groove but other times it will not. Sometimes when it says it is paired the sound is still coming out of the computer speakers not the Groove. Earlier this year it was working fine. I have heard that Groove will only save 2 devices to pair with and if you want to pair it with something different you have to do the factory reset first to erase the current pairings. I have not been able to confirm this with Klipsch however. I love the speaker. It has a rich sound that is much better than many of the bluetooth speakers that I have heard. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Chuck Fredrick Durango, CO
  21. Hi everyone, I have a question about PowerGate amplifiers. When I set it up on a WiFi network and give it a name the name doesn't show up on Bluetooth search list. The name that appears is Klipsch PowerGate followed by a 4 digit letter+number code. Any ideas on how to permanently set the Bluetooth connection name to a user-specified name?
  22. I've got a KMC3 and a pair of R-15PMs. How can I pair them to both play music from my turntable? I can get one or the other to play, but I can't get both. I also can't seem to pair both together to stream music via bluetooth, any ideas? Thanks, Ray
  23. I've got a set of R-15PMs and a KMC 3. How can I pair these together to play from one audio bluetooth source? Thanks, Ray
  24. Hi, Interested in the Heritage series products (The Three and The Sixes). Does anyone knows if they support apt-x codec ? Or does anyone have the list of supported codecs ? Thanks Romain
  25. I'm not sure if anyone else has this problem, but if I turn the R-15PM's off with the remote (puts them in standby mode) the bluetooth connection will refuse to work (and will only work after turning the speakers off with the hard switch on the back). The bluetooth light will also not turn on if restarting from standby, even though all the other inputs work as advertised.
