  1. Don't see these often... Two drivers ($175 & $135), one looks to be excellent, and one passive radiator ($75). Located in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Not affiliated with the sale. https://dallas.craigslist.org/ndf/ele/d/argyle-klipsch-rsw-15-subwoofer-driver/6964492085.html https://dallas.craigslist.org/ndf/ele/d/argyle-klipsch-rsw-15-subwoofer-driver/6964494596.html https://dallas.craigslist.org/ndf/ele/d/argyle-klipsch-rsw-15-passive-radiator/6964496032.html
  2. I have an RSW 15 that I want to sell, It's in great cosmetic condition. The cabinet is clean and shiny and free of dings and scratches,. The passive radiator has a small ding in it, this doesn't affect the sound by any detectable amount. all the switches and inputs and outputs are clean and maintained. As for the way this thing sounds, well, if you're in the market for one then you probably either already know, or know what to expect. This sub still blew my expectations out of the water! Cherry, Great condition, asking $1000 Location:Vallejo CA

I have 2 grill covers: - Grill #1 has 1 peg missing. - Grill #2 is missing all 4 pegs and has some type of glue on the fabric from where the previous owner attempted to glue them back on. 4. I’ve just purchased a pair of RF-7 iii’s. My Denon receiver is underpowered for these power hungry puppies. I work in pro audio and happen to have a Crown DCi 4|600 amp with DSP. They’re connected and sound incredible!! Obviously my amp doesn’t have a pre-amp out or any way to split the incoming signal. Looking for any pointers on how to better add the sub to this setup, instead of the y-splitter I’m using at the moment. It works, but I’m $9000 into this system and would like to know if I’m connecting the sub the smartest way possible. I googled for a pre-amp splitter but haven’t had any luck. Any insight is greatly appreciated.
  5. Selling RSW15 and pair of RS7 surround speakers. RSW15...2 minor surface scratches on RSW15 on top less than 1/2" long. Speaker screen mounting posts were broken but repaired with epoxy. Works perfectly. $800 RS7... never used, one nick on top surface of one RS7 less than 1/8". $500 for pair
  6. I have a beautiful RSW-15 in black available for sale. It is in terrific shape, has some minor scratches, one small imperfection, 2 missing grill pegs, and is otherwise in great shape. I purchased this subwoofer from another member in the forum and would like to sell it to another member in the forum to "pass it on." I have tested it extensively, and it works 100%. I added feet to this sub, as it came without feet. Some scratches on the bottom are there most likely due to the lack of feet. I did some light touchup on them in order to make the appearance as perfect as possible. The member who had it before me took excellent care of it, and I have also. It has absolutely no performance issues and plays loud, low and clear. Asking $750 for the RSW-15. I enjoy getting to know and meet the members here. Please be friendly! I look forward to creating a win-win here My track record is not long here but I am 100% honest and forthcoming. Feel free to ask any questions or request additional pictures of any part as needed. I am located in Chicago, Illinois, in the far north part of the city. Easily accessible for anybody, safe and parking is not a problem where I live. Cheers, Roboklipsch
  7. I'm looking for an Earthquake Supernova 15. I have a 10" and 12" version. I would like to try a 15". I don't really care if it's a MKIV, MKV, or MKVI; just depends on price. I'm located in the Greensboro area of North Carolina. I'm also interested in a second Klipsch RSW-15. I prefer black, but wouldn't hesitate to take a RSW-15 in cherry or maple. If you're far away but willing to ship, let me know. Just PM me with details. Thanks!
  8. Looking for an RT-10d / 12d or RSW-12 / 15 - Cherry Preferred. Pairs would be nice... Let me know what you have.
  9. I need a 2nd RSW-15 to balance out my room. I'm in Huntsville, Al and will drive 3-4 hours to pick up. Thanks, Wayne Wilburn wilbucd@yahoo.com

  11. RF-7's and RSW-15....SOLD! The time has come for me to part ways with my RF-7 setup. Since I spend most of my time listening to music, and not watching movies, I'm going back to a more simple 2-channel setup. That said, I have for sale (all in cherry finish) a pair of RF-7's, an RC-7 and an RSW-15. They are in very good condition. All speaker grills have their pegs, except for the RSW-15, in which a couple have broken off (very common from my understanding). $1,900 takes it all! I prefer to sell this as a package. It does make for one hell of an HT setup. If I watched more movies, I would not even be thinking about selling these. I'm in Little Rock, AR. Pickup only....no shipping. The attached pics are without the grills, but I have all the grills and they are in great shape....no tears or snags. I did not pull these out and take pics from all angles, because they are still in use....for now. However, they are all in very good condition! Hogfan
  12. An acquaintance of mine contacted me asking if I knew anyone that might be interested in purchasing a pair of RT-10D. I've never owned any of the RT Series and have only heard one demo a LONG time ago. I want to see how they compare to my RSW-15 so I decided to buy them. My schedule has been crazy busy lately but as soon as I have some time, I will do some comparisons between Dual RT10D and a Single RSW15. Do you think that would be a fair comparison? To me, it's hard to tell because you have (1) Active 15" & (1) Passive 15" in the RSW-15 vs (2) Active 10" & (4) Passive 10" in the RT-10D. What are your thoughts on which might come out on top? RSW-15 Specs: 600 RMS / 2400 Peak Down to 19Hz 121dB Surface Area: 352 RT-10D Specs: 700 RMS / 1600 Peak Down to 22Hz 119dB with Single RT-10D 122dB with Dual RT-10D Surface Area of single RT-10D: 235.5 Surface Area of Dual RT-10D: 471 The RT-10D is designed to be in a corner so I'm thinking about leaving my RSW-15 behind the bottom right door of the False Wall and placing the RT-10D behind the false wall in the corners. Here is my prediction.....the RSW-15 will beat a single RT-10D but Dual RT-10D will beat RSW-15. Now when I say beat, I'm probably just talking shear impact. The RSW-15 is very musical but I've heard the same about the RT-10D series as well. Guess that's part of the fun finding out through experimentation. Visually, the finish on the RT-10D is absolutely gorgeous! Very deep, dark cherry wood color. Although they have a small profile, they are quite heavy for their size. The foam surrounds are very tight and thick. Unfortunately, everyone is in bed so I'll have to wait till tomorrow night to fire them up! This should be a fun comparison! Below are some pics for your enjoyment.
  13. Today I picked up a second Maple RSW-15 and need some advice on placement. In a few months, I will redesign my front wall and have the LaScala Trio behind a 150" AT Screen. The subs will either go directly beneath the LaScalas in the corners or I can place them in between the LaScalas (behind the new false wall). The right RSW-15 is usually located behind the door that is directly behind it. When I went to put the left RSW-15 behind the door that is directly behind it, the subwoofer would not fit. Long story short, I would need to build a platform like I did on the right side for it to fit. Since the LaScalas will temporarily remain in front of the current false wall, I have 3 options for placement of the subs: Option 1: Add a shelf for the 2nd Subwoofer so that it fits inside the cabinet. Option 2: Put both subs in the corners behind the Left and Right Door on the False Wall. Only problem with this is that the Left and Right LaScala will be about 8 inches in front of it. Not sure how that will effect the sound. Option 3: Leave them where they currently are in the photos below out in the middle of the room. Again, this is only temporary placement....just seeking some advice on what might sound best.
  14. I've been so pleased with the performance of the RSW-15, I decided to purchase it's identical twin! I've passed on several RSW-15's that were out of state due to not wanting to ship this beast. What is the likelihood of finding another Maple RSW-15 locally? Guess about the same likelihood of me finding a single LaScala to use as a center channel. I purchased the sub from it's original owner. The twin is in excellent condition with only minor scratches on the top of the cabinet. Both woofers are in fantastic shape. The speaker grill had all 4 pegs broken and the previous owner used white glue to secure machine screws to the grill so the white shows through the grill. Will likely throw the grill away since I don't use them and it's in pretty rough shape. I haven't cranked them up yet as I need some suggestions regarding placement. I'll start a separate thread in the subwoofer section though.
  15. I recently purchased a pair of RT-10D's. I initially thought that the dual RT-10D's would have more output than the single RSW-15 but so far in my initial testings, although the RT-10D's provide plenty of smooth, low end, they don't seem to have as much slam or dig as deep as the RSW-15. These are not conclusive findings as I need to dial the subs in a bit more to make sure I'm doing a fair comparison. I will be posting my findings in this Dual RT-10D vs RSW-15 Comparison Thread hopefully this weekend when I have some time to spend in the HT. I keep forgetting we have a Subwoofers section so I thought I would share some pics for everyone.
