  1. Hey guys this is unfortunately my first post here and it's to do with my one cracked woofer. I have a pair of Synergy F-3's and I did call Klipsch they no longer make or have stock of this woofer. I am trying to find a replacement, I know there is one on eBay right now but by the time it's all said and done I am looking at almost $200 CAD. I don't mind if it's not a Klipsch woofer that goes back in as it is just one but if anyone knows anyone selling parts for an F-3 do post here, hopefully in Canada as that is where I am located. I would like your opinion on what woofer to replace it with if I can not get an OEM part. I did post a picture to see if anyone knows if this is fixable instead of needing a whole new woofer?
  2. I have a R-112SW, it has been working fine until a while ago.. it has started turning off randomly. Sometimes it can stay on for hours, but sometimes it turns of after seconds of use.... So I figured I'd just change the plate amp, but I think I might need some help picking the right amp... My the sub is rated with 300w RMS with 600W peak if I'm not mistaken..? So what wattage for the amp am I looking at then...? I've found 2 different plate amps from Dayton Audio which as far as I can see will fit perfectly without any modification to the sub box itself atleast... The Dayton Audio SPA250DSP, the other one is primarily the same amp just with 500w (SPA500DSP) So my question is which one of these amps will work the best..?
  3. Hi I have an older 440W KSW-12 downward firing subwoofer and I am contemplating on whether or not to replace the OEM paper 12” driver with a newer copper spun type OR a 3rd party driver from JL Audio, Dayton Audio, etc. Has anyone replaced their older KSW or equivalent driver with a newer one and if so did you notice an increase in punch or perceived output @ the same level with the OEM driver or any other differences? The bottom end frequency for the OEM driver is 24Hz Any ideas or thoughts? I currently have: + One pair of Klipsch F30 front speakers (to be moved in back to use as back surrounds) + One pair of RP-500SA Atmos speakers placed on top of the F30’s + One Polk Audio 5 driver center speaker + One pair of Polk Audio Monitor 50 Series II’s for the back surrounds + One pair of Klipsch RS-14’s for side/high surrounds + Klipsch KSW-12 subwoofer + Onkyo TX-RZ840 Receiver (For Theater) + Homebrew 40 wattt x 2 tube driven pre/power amplifier (For Music only) + A Project One pure analog tuner - the good old days My goal: Obtain a new OR USED primary front firing subwoofer (preferably the SPL-120) and then use this KSW-12 either as a 2nd sub behind my couch for home theater use or separately (non zoned) with my TX-NR708 receiver in another room for whatever. 4. I have the R-15PM Monitor Speakers and was wondering where can I get a replacement for the remote control. Any help would be appreciated!
  5. One of my drivers are cracked and needs to be replaced If you have one for sale please post here and your asking price. I am located in Ontario Canada so I would prefer to purchase from a fellow Canadian, but at this point I can't really choose.
  6. Can I do this and will it improve the former sound or does the amplifier play too large of a role (plus I know the design for the 10d is very different)?
  7. Hello. I bought a pair of r28f speakers a couple of months ago and unfortunately the tweeter of one of them sounded a little lower than the other( some high frequencies didnt sound at all). So i watched some videos on how to remove a klipsch tweeter to check if it was blown. In addition i've removed the tweeter and accidentaly cut off the diaphragm connection. At last I can't find a replacement tweeter .Do you happen to know the R28F tweeter code number cause the code number the reported tweeter has doesnt show any results on any shop ! Thanks.
  8. Hi there! First post here. Just picked up a beautiful pair of KG4s, brought them home... and what would you know my receiver is acting up. I was fiddling with it to try and figure out what was wrong, heard a loud pop, and when I later tested the speakers with a friend's functional Yamaha receiver one of the drivers had no sound coming out. So I'm desperately looking for a K8K Replacement! I have seen threads where people suggest clones, but haven't heard back about any experiences and would really rather keep them OEM. Does anyone have any K8Ks lying around or know where to get some? Worst case scenario, anyone have experiences with whether the 'clones' are up to par? Really want to get these amazing speakers back to working condition. Thanks!
  9. I am repairing a built in home stereo system that uses Frazier speakers in every room. Each speaker is a 12 x 12 x 16 cabinet with an 8" woofer and a 5 x 7 tweeter. The tweeters are the black bell type with alnico magnetics. The tweeters are blown in at least 2 of 12 tweeters, and there are at least a couple more. Knowing that there is a lot of common driver parts between Klipsch and Frazier, I am posting my questions here and in the Frazier sites. Checking the internet I cannot find any diaphragm replacement kits. Are there any available? Next option is I have found some 5 X 7 Frazier replacement tweeter assemblies at a decent price, but the magnetic arrangement is different. Instead of the tall small diameter alnico style magnet under a plastic cup, it has a short large diameter magnetic and no cup. The tweeters are marked on the back with: Frazier F-3x7 N4850-F 114850-F U.S.PAT. 3,898,393 Are these equivalent specs? And what are the differences? Thanks in advance
  10. I need.... I hate this saying. I have two awesome Concert series S4115H speakers, Replaced 15" woofers with, PA3808 15" Pro Woofer 8 Ohms. and a cheap tweeter. Cheap and sounded good for it's time. I used a Yamaha Km-206 amp, a SAE Mark 5 pre amp. These speakers rocked my house. Thank you neighbors. It wasn't loud enough-Oops, added a Beringer Nu 6000 amp, at 1500 watts into 8 Ohms. Blew horns rated at 300 watts RMS. Do you sell replacements that can handle this. Thank you william_sawyers@yahoo.com Thank you from a children author of Concord Ca. William Sawyers
  11. Hi Al! I am in search for a replacement driver for my KG4. The driver model I am seeking is a K-8-K. Does anyone have one to sell? Thanks in Advance, Mr. Music Fan
  12. Hello, I recently purchased the Reference home theater system. R15M, R26F, R10SW but I did not purchase the R25C because that speaker will not fit in the front of my TV Cabinet. I have a 65" curved Samsung TV sitting on the stand and the bezel sits about 2" or so off of the stand. If I put the R25C in front of my TV it will block some of my viewing area. My TV cabinet has 3 sections all at 18.125" wide. I prefer not to mount the center speaker on the wall behind the TV because that would look very odd and I don't want to put the center speaker on the floor. Is there a comparable speaker in anyone's mind that I could get that would sound ok to match this setup? There are a few older Reference speakers that would work but I would have to find something used. Is the G-16 my only bet? I'd hat to get another brand because it sounds like the non timbre matching wouldn't be good. Please help! Thanks
  13. I'm new here, so bear with me if I'm posting in the wrong place or the wrong way. I recently bought a pair of Epic CF-4s and after about two weeks of pure bliss (man, these are nice speakers), one of my woofers started rubbing. I'm desperately looking to buy a replacement (K-30-KN) woofer. Or, if anyone has found a place that can recone these speakers, please let me know.
  14. I have a pair of Klipsch speakers and I do not know the model and can't see a serial number. They were purchased about 1986. Any ideas? One woofer has been injured and needs replacement. Any suggestions. Thanks for your help.
  15. Hello all. First post on here. I own a pair of Klipsch Reference ONE Premium On-Ear Headphones. I love them! I want to replace the plug as I ruined it while it was connected to my phone. One side is always out unless I play with the plug. Anyway, I ordered a TRRS plug. My question is, does anyone know of a wiring diagram for these headphones? I, obviously, want to connect the channels and mic wires to the proper terminals on the plug. The wire jacket is transparent so a standard headphone wire color code, if one exists, probably wouldn't help. I appreciate any information or assistance with this issue.
  16. I purchased the Klipsch S4i Rugged Edition about 6 months ago, and they have quickly become my favorite pair of earphones ever. However, I have recently lost the eartips that fit me best. Can you guys tell me where I can get replacement ear tips in India? Thanks a bunch! Mathew
  17. I have a blown speaker and I am looking for a replacement. Anyone know where to get one? Or a product that is similar enough that it can be swapped out?
  18. Hi! I'm brand new to the website so I hope I'm not posting in the wrong place or asking a question that has already been asked.. I've recently picked up an older pair of Kilpsch RP3's that are in fantastic condition minus the speaker grills. I've searched and searched for replacements to no avail. Does anyone around here have any idea where you could pick something like this up if it's even possible for a speaker this old. Thanks in advance!
