I own a set of klf 20's for 15 years and I never had any trouble.. I'm Looking to buy a set Klipsch KLF 30 s and a Center.. What are the draw backs of the KLFs series? i have read many issues with them, like the glue failing on cabinets and all the speaker plastic trim cracking with heavy use.. Honestly, Im Kinda considering in buying new speakers to avoid any issues. BTW I'm located in ATLANTA if any wants sell some klf 30s or 20s at reasonable price
Hi all- First post here. I've got a pair of klf 30s and matching c 7 that I purchased new. Running them with a Denon 2803 and Paradyme PW 2200 sub in a music room roughly 14'W x 18'D. We recently purchased a projector so the family could use the music room as a movie room. I'm looking for surrounds from what klipsch currently offers hoping there's something that will do the job, pair nicely, and not break the bank. Would a pair of RS-42IIs or RS-52IIs be a good choice? I am starting to see some deals on them. Also, would it make sense to add a third speaker of either of these for a surround back? I do not have room for more than a single in the back. Thoughts?
Hey guys I looked on the forum for an answer but maybe I didn't go back far enough. I have the KLF 30's for fronts, c-7 center and ksw 12 sub but my question is which amp would best pair with the 30's. Currently I am using the Marantz av8003 preamp and the Emotiva xpa-5 2 amp. I am always reading about the Carver or Parasound amps and wonder if one of these would produce a warmer sound from the 30's. I did replace tweeters with Crites and had some minor change, bi-wiring did help but in clarity but not very noticeable. Anybody have have better rewarding sound with other amps? Thanks in advance for any info.
