  1. Hi! I've had my Klipsch R115-SW for a week's time, working perfectly fine and nothing wrong with it.. 3 days ago I was switching the phase from 180 to 0 and the power just got cut off of the subwoofer. The green light turned off and switching the power from AUTO to ON did not help. I unplugged it and re-plugged it while it was on the ON setting, and it worked for 10 seconds with the green LED flickering then turned off. The same thing happened if I did the same steps but it lasted for one second only. After that I contacted live chat and talked to staff, which told me to change the outlet and it worked. However, one day later it did not work again. After checking, the fuses were burnt. I replaced them, and it worked just fine for another day. Now it stopped working again, and after checking the fuses there was no problem with them like last time. Can you help me understand the source of the problem? P.S. I have a voltage corrector attached to my subwoofer, but even removing it does not help. I tried another cable which also did not work. I unplug the subwoofer when not using it.
  2. Fronts 2 RF-7 iii, Center RC-64 iii, 2 Surrounds RP-250 S , 2 Subs R-115 SW, 2 In-ceiling Speakers came with the house believe they are Martin Logan , Denon 4400 H Sounds good am concerned may be underpowered. Was advised to get an Amplifier, looking for feedback as to what is recommended? Think I need a 5 or 7 channel amplifier with 200 per channel at 8 ohms. ( Not Sure) Feedback and comments are highly appreciated.
  3. I have 2xRP280 and a R-115SW sub connected to a Denon AVRX6300H for about a year and half. today, the left speaker next to sub started buzzing, then cut out and then there was a horrible smell. the smells is coming from the speaker next to the sub or sub. it smells horrible and is quite terrifying. What just happened? is my equipment ok? what can i do to resolve? should i be concerned of fire and safety?
  4. I'm looking to build a home theatre set up at my new house in a room which is 20' by 29' (Yup, quite a large room) in dimensions, to be used as a living room. You can assume the space used for the System will be 3/4th of that. Right now I am looking at a 7.1.2 configuration with 2x RP-260Fs as front L/R, 1x RP-440C as centre 4x RP-240S' for surround, 1x R-112SW subwoofer, and 2x R-1800-C as ceiling speakers powered by a Denon X-4300H Would this configuration suffice for the room, or would it be too underpowered? I was also given the option of the RP280Fs, RP-150S, RP-450C with R-115SW, but this seemed a bit pricey for my liking. Also wanted to know if upgrading the subwoofer from 112 to a 115 is recommended. Please give do give your suggestions.
  5. So im finally ready to set up all my klipsch speakers and denon avr. Im new to this. There are 4 outlets labelled "bank 2-high current outlets" and another one labelled "bank 1-Linear filtration". Please helpppppp. I dont want a thud from the woofer. Thanks everyone! Happy new years
