Hello, I would like to ask you for 2 questions... 1) how huge should be room for r115 sw? I got r110sw in 6x4 meters. Its really bone rattling booms shaking with my internal organs i got it only on 40%. I got lpf and in rcv 80-100hz. In tron movie about 42minutes its hardcored so i am afraid of r115. My friend has a r110 and smaller room and he cant reach my sound on 70%. I think its cause by room acustic. So should i go for r115? 2) how is your setups, is there any recommended setup? I got floorstands rf82 ii which is playing from 32hz i guess and i set it in RCV from 50hz, center 450c is from 60hz and surrounds rb61ii are from 50hz. Lpf is 80 sometimes 100. My setup is : front: rf 82 ii Center: 450c Surrounds: rb 61 ii Subwoofer: r110 sw Thanks a lot for advise.

So I have a dilema, I need some advice. I have the opportunity to buy a Pioneer Elite Audio/ video multichannel receiver/ amplifier VSX-81TXV, for $180.00, but it doesn't have a remote. He wont come down on the price.. So my question is...Is it worth the $180.00, or should I keep looking.

Can anyone suggest a starter amp/reciever "under $500" to pair with a set of Belles from 1979-80? I'm am new to the high end stereo world,so go easy on me. I just got them last week and am running them through an Onkyo a-9050 2channel integrated amp 75watts per channel and they sound pretty lifeless. I've tried doubling the power with a 150 watt per channel Onkyo power amp and not much better. Most people are telling me to get a tube amp and this is where my basic stereo skills end.... How much power from a tube amp is sufficent to power these? Any brand names recommended? I live in a small town with no audio store to speak of,so I will probably be purchasing through Amazon. Thanks for the help!

Hello all, So I've had my set up for a few weeks now and have throughly enjoyed it; however I have noticed at higher volumes the smaller speakers just can't keep up to the sub. If I turn the sub way down its still like the smaller speakers just aren't getting very loud. I shot Klipsch support line an email and apparently my receiver isn't producing enough power and could actually damage the speakers. Bellow is my current set up. According to Klipsch I need at least 150 watts to run the F-30 floor speakers to their potential? Klipsch F-30 floor speakers FREQUENCY RESPONSE: 35Hz-23KHz ± 3dB SENSITIVITY: 97.5dB @ 2.83V / 1m POWER HANDLING: 150W RMS / 600W Peak C-10 premium center FREQUENCY RESPONSE: 100Hz-23KHz ± 3dB SENSITIVITY: 93.5dB @ 2.83V / 1m POWER HANDLING: 50W RMS / 200W Peak S-10 premium WDST surround sound (pair) FREQUENCY RESPONSE: 95Hz-23KHz ± 3dB SENSITIVITY: 89dB @ 2.83V / 1m POWER HANDLING: 50W RMS / 200W Peak BIC America F-12 sub Frequency Response: 25Hz - 200Hz Sensitivity: 90dB Recommended Power: Built-in Amplifier Power: 475 watts Dynamic Peak, 150 watts RMS continuous Impedance: 8 ohms Sony SRT-DH520 receiver AUDIO POWER SPECIFICATIONS POWER OUTPUT AND TOTAL HARMONIC DISTORTION: (USA model only) With 8 ohm loads, both channels driven, from 20 – 20,000 Hz; rated 90 watts per channel minimum RMS power, with no more than 0.09% total harmonic distortion from 250 milliwatts to rated output. Just curious if anyone would / could suggest a receiver in the $300 price range with the proper wattage to run this set up?
