Original equipment 8” Klipsch K-1083-SB woofers. Absolutely in perfect condition. These are becoming very difficult to find these days, as the new replacement versions have a different dust cap arrangement. These are the direct replacement for and will fit: RF-3, RF-3 II, RF-35, RF-5, RC-7, RF-82 II This is a great opportunity to return your speakers to perfect original condition if you have damage to one (or more) of your drivers. I can have it connected in my garage to verify that it works to your satisfaction. I'm asking $120 for the pair or $65 for just one. I am located in the Southwest suburbs of Chicago near Naperville, IL. I'm looking for local pick up only at the moment. If they don't sell locally after a bit, I will entertain the idea of shipping as I do have the plastic shipping covers to protect the cones.
Damaged cone, but functions normally. Great if you keep your grills on or just want to replace a speaker. It works perfectly and if you are not worried about how it looks, this is a great deal as I have it listed much cheaper than the damaged ones currently for sale online. Plus, I can demo this for you so you make sure you are satisfied with the performance before you buy. Buy with confidence as I have over 16 five star reviews on offerup, 70 on Letgo and over 50 on eBay. Fits:RF-3, RF-3 II, RF-35, RF-5, RC-7, RF-82 II I’m asking $20 for forum members. feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Hi everyone, So my friend who is moving overseas has gifted me his old Klipsch floor standing RF - 35's after years of making fun of my Yamaha HS5's.... While this might be basic knowledge on these forums, this is the first time that I have owned passive speakers so I literally have no idea what I'm looking for in an amplifier. The speakers will be used solely to play vinyl records off of 2 X Technic SL1200 record players that are already hooked up to a Pioneer DJM400 mixer (I believe this acts as a preamp?) in my living room. Friends have been telling me that i should invest in a valve/tube amplifier as it will best bring out that vinyl sound - whilst other people have been telling me I should go solid state as it will be more affordable and it will help bring out the bass in the RF35's which can sound too bright(?). Any advice, guidance, recommendations from some seasoned audio/klipsch veterans would be genuinely appreciated and welcomed :).
