mmmmhhhh.

interesting question...

maybe you could ask in the home theater forum up there...

since I don't know the xover specs for either the pro or the quintet sats, i can't help you.

I'm sure if you called Klipsch they'd tell you too.

tell us about it when you find out!

for the qunits:

Sensitivity: 90dB @ 1 watt/1 meter

Frequency Response: 100Hz - 20kHz

Nominal Impedance: 8 Ohms

Crossover Frequency: 4900Hz

Max Amp Power:100 Watts maximum continuous (200 Watts Peak Power).

Enclosure Type: Bass Reflex Via Rear-Firing Port

Dimensions: 7.5" H x 4.25" W x 6.376" D

I would think they would work fine with the Pro Sub.. dont know if there would be any sound difference

it should sound significantly better.. Compared to the Promedias, the Quintets are

1) bass-reflex ported enclosure

2) speaker made out of black stone mineral compund (twice as hard as ABS plastic)

3) neodymium magnet for tweeter

4) soft dome pressure tweeter

5) better material woofer

6) bigger woofer (by .5")

7) binding posts connections

BTW, they are selling on uBid.com for $39/ea
