wuzzzer Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 I was wanting that poster for a long time but they were always expensive on eBay, etc. Then about a year or so ago someone on here posted that you could email Maxell and they'd send you one free. I did and I got mine about two weeks later. Good to see that they're giving them away again. Quote
colterphoto1 Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 way cool mang, thx for posting Michael Quote
USNRET Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 I got mine a couple of years ago and then went to have it framed, GONE, empty tube! Never did find out where it went. Maybe I'll try again. Quote
Groomlakearea51 Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Thanks!!! Response on their site said 10 days. Quote
colterphoto1 Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 I got one in the last round. This one is going to the first person to ask, and Timmikid will be hanging this one on his wall. Now to figure out how to get to Holland from here? US Post probably. M Quote
RT FAN Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Thanks for the heads up Sheltie! As a long time fan of Maxell cassettes, I always liked that poster. Maxells make up 90+% of my 700 cassette collection. XL II S was always my favorite tape. Quote
colterphoto1 Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Yep, in the days a 10 pack of XLIIS wouldn't last long. I recall recording my LP's completely to Cassette so I could enjoy them in the car. Lots of radio shows and rare live stuff is on some of those Maxells. I really should take the collection out to the shop with my Denon deck so I can enjoy them more. They almost never get played in the house since CD's took over. I've probably got about 300 nicely recorded and cataloged Maxells here. Quote
Ricci Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Looks like I missed it.[] It says that the free poster giveaway has been completed now. Dang it. Quote
