REDNECK1 Posted January 13, 2009 Share Posted January 13, 2009 i just bout a new RSW-10D, and when you turn the volume up ( nothing connected) it makes a light thumping sound as the volume increasses, and even when you decreass the volume. Yuo cannot hear it below -13, but if you gently touch the rear woofer you can feel a slight bump. Is this normal for this unit to do this, has this problem been noted before? I am completly new and have not had time to check the search feature, ( so don't kill me yet!)....any help would be appriciated. REDNECK1 Posted January 13, 2009 Author Share Posted January 13, 2009 I phoned the big boy's today and talked to tech support, I spoke to Robert and he told me that even his sub made this sound. Moderators dtel Posted January 13, 2009 Moderators Share Posted January 13, 2009 If it's only above -13 that would be really loud, it could be just a little rumble from the amp being there is no signal for it to reproduce but the power is turned up ? Just a guess, it sounds like something you would never hear with something playing. Many here know much more about subs, maby someone will see this.
