jacksonbart
Common symptoms include fever, lethargy, lack of appetite and coughing, while runny nose, sore throat, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea have also been reported.[21] It is believed to be spread between humans through coughing or sneezing of infected people and touching something with the virus on it and then touching their own nose or mouth.[22] Swine flu cannot be spread by pork products, since the virus is not transmitted through food.[22] The swine flu in humans is most contagious during the first five days of the illness although some people, most commonly children, can remain contagious for up to ten days. Diagnosis can be made by sending a specimen, collected during the first five days, to the CDC for analysis

mark1101
My high school spanish teacher died of swine flu in 1978. She went and got a vaccination to protect her from swine flu and caught the flu from the shot.

pauln
Swine Flu Tracking Map Here's who has it, and who had it... Checking this map twice over a day or two should convince all but the terminally math challenged that the pandemic is exponential.
djk
" She went and got a vaccination to protect her from swine flu and caught the flu from the shot." In that outbreak only one person died from direct exposure, TWENTY-FIVE died from the vaccine. More than 500 people are thought to have developed Guillain-Barre syndrome after receiving the vaccine. No one completely understands the causes of Guillain-Barre, but the condition can develop after a bout with infection or following surgery or vaccination. The federal government paid millions in damages to people or their families. I had the HongKong flu in 1968, over 1 Million people died from that word wide. Every year about 200,000 people die from the flu, about 15,000 in the USA alone. This outbreak has not been particularly deadly (yet), but wait about six months and see what it mutates into. This info seems reasonable: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swine_flu
