jason str Posted May 1, 2009 Share Posted May 1, 2009 Just got a pair of nice KG4's and was wondering if there were any options to install a passive woofer like my chorus 2's have, the passive has recently been refoamed but we all know they only last so long. I recall seeing one of the other models when shopping for my chorus 2's that had the smaller passive (12") and was wondering if it may be interchangable with these. I'm not sure what they use treated paper maybe ? Also is there any advise anybody could offer for a crossover capacitor upgrade for the horn ? jason str Posted May 2, 2009 Author Share Posted May 2, 2009 After some homework i found it was the Quartet i was thinking of with the 12" Fiber-composite cone passive woofer, would this be an option to install on the KG4's to extend the life ?
