Hi,

I've checked out the specs on these three subwoofers, but I keep reading SVS and Velodyne are better. I want a sub thats good for Tv [90%] and music [10%]. 400 sq foot [3600 cubic feet] room which includes 200 sq feet for dining area and 200 sq feet for family area with Tv. Please advise.

Klipsch Sub-10 200 RMS 28-120Hz $400

Velodyne DEQ-10R 195 RMS 28-120Hz $549

SVS 10" NSD 300 RMS 20-100Hz $429

Thanks,

Joe

Thanks for the info!

Little confused about what you meant by "watching movies". 90% of the time I will be watching tv [including tv movies], 5% watching Blu-ray DVD movies, and 5% listening to Blu-ray DVD music.

Thanks,

Joe

Typically, for movies, you want a sub that will go to 20Hz or below as there is a bunch of info down there. If you use your sub for music, the ability to go below 20Hz isn't that critical.
