Kyle6468
I can't find any information on the klipsch website about forte's with 4 ohm impedance instead of 8 ohm, however on the back mine say 4 ohm on both. Did klipsch ever make a 4 ohm forte? if so are they any rarer than an 8 ohm pair, and does it affect the value?
SilverSport
use 'em at 8 ohms and you're good to go...they made some labels with differing listings...4 and 8 ohms...I believe my kg2s had 6 ohms on the labels...this question gets asked many times but you are good at 8 ohms... Cal Blacksmith
Run them at whatever rating sounds best. I am running my 8 ohm Cornwalls on the 4 ohm taps of my tube amp. My 4 ohm Fortes are running at 8 ohm in the HT. Go with whatever works best for you!
SilverSport
Cal is of course correct, I meant that you don't need to run at 4 ohms (I don't) ...enjoy! Bill
