Just_Strummin
A professional set up guy can work with a lot of deviations. The older Linn TT's and especially the early Roksan Xerxes had enough deviations to drive set up people crazy. I think you'll be fine if you're within 1/10th of 1mm for an armboard. Mr. RF62
Yes. Within 1/10th of the mm, like J.S. said.
nu2toobs
1/10 of a mm seems a little extreme. As long as you can set the overhang with your cartridge, you should be fine. The slots in the headshell should make up for any small error. Or like my SME that adjusts by moving the whole arm fore and aft to set the proper overhang. bliss53
I thought I already posted this but it is not here. Since my last post in June a friend got me a acoustech/feickert protractor as a best man gift. There is a pin that marks the mounting point exactly. http://www.elusivedisc.com/prodinfo.asp?number=ACOFPRO
seti
I'm having a tonearm mount plate made for the jelco 12". Do you know what size bolts you have with your Jelco? Wow nice protractor. Wanna rent it out : )
