JL Sargent
Cannot really help with new cds but I have several old Al Green records. There are times when ole Al is hard to beat. If starting over I would be tempted to go with a lossless digital format and buy specific tracks downloaded to my pc and then on to cds that I make or thumb drives. The album "Call me" and "I'm still in love with you" are regulars through my turntable. Heck, get this one.

JL Sargent
There you go. I think you'll enjoy that one. What happened to the guy that sold you those 300b monoblocks? I don't think he has posted since you had the meltdown.
winchester21
Not his fault- they were sold as is- prototype- really cheap. they worked fine for a couple of months. this was a wiring or manufact flaw from Tubemagic. I am convinced he had no knowledge of any issues- really nice guy.I am surfing around to have somebody repair and perhaps mod them. Doing something soon. if I had paid fair market value- different story- in this case.. s--- happens. gotta be fair about it. thanks for the suggestions.. got any for otis redding??? thieves took those as well. winchester21
Side note on Al Green CDs.. call me and Still in love are out of print.. New ones fetch 40-100 bucks. bought new/ used open box in the high teens- if you want them... better get them now.
Professor Thump
What are they printing these days... The selection of CD's is poor any more and declining. I suspect Best Buy won't be selling CD's by next year in any real volumes.
winchester21
Going downhill fast- if you dont believe it check out e-bay for MFSL cds- lots of bids and bringing big bucks- stupid money. CDs appear to be on the way out Downloaded music IMHO sucks Going back toward vinyl myself
