My Three Year "Jubilee Anniversary"

Recommended Posts

This step is the setup I used to drill the holes of the Frame's Side Bars so that it can be attached to the Frame's Top Cross Bar.

Note: I used the now squared Frame's Top Plate to precisely align and clamp the Bars for drilling.

Taps I used for the Holes in the Frame requiring threads.

Note: I used stainless hardware throughout this project and be forwarned it is expensive but is mandatory IMO.

And now to run Taps in the end holes of the Frame's Side Bars.

Note: For lubrication I like to use isopropyle alcohol when drilling and taping the aluminum.

A view of the setup for countersinking the 2 holes previousely drilled in the Top Plate to attach the Top Cross Bar of the Frame.

Note: 2 holes have also been drilled and Taped in the Top Plate's back edge for a small Back Plate to hold the Frame in Place when placed on the Jubilee.
