robi
What cables? Beautiful job, Robi. Thank you TheEvan!!! In my previous post I was sorry for the cables that you can see under the TV. The room is under construction... For the Cornscalas I used Cu-Ag + Teflon cables. I dampened it before put it in the cabinet.

robi
Good evening guys!!!! How are you? I'm pleased to inform that my Oppo BD 83 - SE was upgraded on output stages. Aurion Audio (the same that upgraded my Musical Fidelity A1) made some pure class A, no op-amp, zero feedback discrete output stages. An additional transformer and an additional mosfet power supply feed current on those stages. My Cornscalas sounds better of ever!!!! PS Now I'm drawing a new cabinet for my Oppo. It will be built with cherry wood on the sides (as my Cornscalas) and mdf on top and will be drilled on top to improve the cooling of the very hot pure class A output stages!!!!!! robi
Hi folks!!! Are many months that I don't post here: how are you? I tried many times to post some pics of the new Oppo cabinet but I can't. When I click on the "save" button my pc stop charge the page. Is there any problems???? hklinker
Hi Robi, Long time since we talked! Como stai? Any new projects? Herb
robi
Ciao Herb!!! Io sto bene e tu??? I'm enjoing a lot my cornscalas now !!!! I'm working on the listening room. I put some diffuser panels on the wall behind the speakers. It's nice!!! If interested I'll post some pics!!! Another test I'd like to do is to not attenuate the CT125 (bypassing the autotrasformer). Last but not least I'd like to test a OTL tube amplifier on my setup.
robi
Hi guys...how are you??? Cornscalas sounds very good after some years.... I just bypassed the autotrasformer on the CT125 in my absorbent room and I continue to listen with grilles on. Just perfect for me!!!! Thank you again!!! ;-)

Dr Morbius
Robi, I also have Cornscala speakers ( looks exactly like hklinker -Herbs Cornscala's in an earlier post of this thread ) and I use a 50 year old tube amp with HUGE transformers (44 watts per channel) and it sounds astounding! Have you used a tube amp yet?
