Electrovoice horn drivers

I just recently acquired a couple of these, but I have no horns for them yet, so I haven't used them . They are supposed to be some of the greatest compression drivers available. Used in lots of movie theatre systems in the 80's and 90's

I think you would probably love them in a home set up

here is a spec link. hope this helps.

You can remove the snout from the DH1A and have a 1.4" exit driver.

At that point you can also look at the Altec MRII564, a very nice compact horn for a flush mount install.

For home use the HR90 is one of the best sounding horns for the DH1. It's about the same width as a Cornwall or LaScala.

I use the dh1as on ev horns in my home theatre setup. EV made multiple size horns for that driver and mainly for movie theatres.

I happen to have several sets of the horns that the drivers work with. They will eventually end up in the garage sale fprum.

I run my evs with k-horns and they sound great to me although you may have to attenate the horns a bit to balance them.
