Khorn capacitors

Hello all:

Have been acquiring several Heritage speakers over the past several years and finally was able to land some Khorns.

I
just picked up the 1975 Klipschorns and thought I should send the
xovers in to get new caps installed. I'm looking at the xovers and the
two smaller caps are small yellow plastic looking cylinders that say
Paktron, WC +/-5%, 2.0 MFD, 7306 150V. They look like they're epoxied
to the board

The other capacitor is a large metal cylinder
nearly an inch in diameter and 2.25 inches long. I can't make out the
what the printing says on it because it's obscured by the piece of
metal strip affixing to the board.

My question is: do these sound
like the caps that would have been installed originally or are some of
these maybe the result of the xovers already having had their caps
replaced.

Bought the Khorns from an ebay seller/agent who
indicated his client was the original owner but had had a stroke and
wasn't able to remember doing any cap replacement or any other service
work on them.

They sound pretty good but from everything I read here I think there's potentially more there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When the supply of surplus oil caps ran out Klipsch substituted some Mylar types.

A short time after that they had new oil caps made.

Replacing your caps would improve the sound.

You need two 2µF and one 13µF per speaker.
