jbsl Posted December 28, 2009 Share Posted December 28, 2009 Last year bought a 80g PS3 and the br movies looked like a regular dvd. Kept playing with it and finally found the problem and then BR dvds looked outstanding. Had to sell that PS3 and just bought the 120g PS3 on Sat. Everything on the PS3(shows outputing 1080p in HD) and the HD tv( receiving 1080p in HD) seems correct but on about 70 percent of BRdvds look good but not BR good. GI Joe and Earth look very good but still just does not seem to match the 80g PS3 BR video. I have a Toshiba HD dvd player and need to compare the PS3 video to the HD. I'll rent the Transformer BR dvd. They both should have outstanding pics. If the PS3 does not then it is not set up right or something is wrong with it and will have to call tech support and then return it. Hope it is just something I am missing in the setup but it says it is sending 1080p hd so. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
