Wardsweb
My DTS-10 is scheduled to ship on the 11th. After talking with them, I found out I can run each subwoofer with its own amp. One it would save me from buying a large commercial amp, two I could avoid any fan noise and third I already have a pair of Carver Silver 7t amps I'm not using. I'll post some pics when its done. I will be veneering it in ebony because my wife decided she wanted it in the room as a statement piece. Originally I was going to put it in a closet in the room on the other side of the back wall and cut a whole for the horn mouth into the home theater room. KdAgain
I will be buying one. Just have to get my quote with the shipping ...and I will pay ...ship...WOHA. Long live subwoofers. Only ONE? I'm extremely pleased with my single, but I certainly envisioned you with - well certainly more than one! Rod
TheEAR
I will start with one, then add...[] I like how "thin" the cabinet is, I will "hide" them along the walls! Tommorrow I am ordering . Shipping will be around $260 so it is very acceptable. Ah my first Danley sub and probably one of many. []

rmlowz
Hello forum friends, Quote: how does it compare against the dts 20? I used to own a DTS 20. I ordered one of the DTS10 today we will see how it compares in my room. Like others are reporting that it is better than the DTS 20. Cheers, Rich

WPS
Wardweb What kind of cable hook up is that in the picture?
Wardsweb
Wardweb What kind of cable hook up is that in the picture? It is a Neutrik Speakon pro connector. It is a locking four contact setup so I could run all four wires via one connector and one cable. I found the connectors and cable at Parts-Express.com
Wardsweb
Here is a picture of the almost competed sub. The veneer is done and I just need to complete the finish. This thing really goes low, like 10Hz and is open, airy and fast. Truely a very musical sub that can also shake the house.
TheEAR
Wardsweb, Classy gear I see,Martin Logan speakers, ML center...Carver amps! Good taste for great gear. The Danley is not so big, just not a sub compact sub. []
Moderators dtel Posted March 14, 2010 Moderators Share Posted March 14, 2010 Very cool looking veneer layout. [H] You could add some legs and make it a coffee table........that mixes your drinks or you !
tragusa3
Thought I'd chime in here as another satisfied Klipsch/Danley owner. I'm running one DTS-10 with the KL650's for my front 3. Room is 4700cf and one Danley is plenty! I'm very satisfied with how they work as a "system". It's seamless, effortless sound. I couldn't appreciate how nice the KL's were until I matched them with a real quality sub.
Jay481985
what type of wood is this?
tragusa3
Interesting how perspectives change. I see my post from March differently now. Since then, I've added a second DTS10, and had to upgrade the KL650's to La Scalas. I'm infected for sure...someone put me down before I hurt someone! CECAA850
Are they still selling the kit? I'm pretty sure that you can only purchase it as an assembled unit now, for a much higher price.
