No KG-4 schematric here, but alot of some others.

I thought I had it, but evidently I don't. But I do have T-S specs for the K-8-K woofer used in the KG 4:

Nomz=  4.00 Ohms   Qms= 5.900  Fs= 27.99 Hz   Cms= 1268.0000uM/N

Revc=  7.00 Ohms   Qes= 0.405  Fi=27.01 Hz    Mms= 25.5000Grams

Levc=  1.00mH      Qts= 0.379  BL=8.80 TM     Pmx= 100.0000Watts

Splo=  88.62 db    no=  0.40 %  Sb=  0.0220sqM = 34.1000sqIn

SPLi=  88.00db    ni=  0.74 %  Vas= 0.0870cuM  =3.0724cuFT

SPLi=88.58db  @  Vg= 2.00V Xmax= 4.0000mm....= 0.1575 In

The guys are looking for the 3.5 schematic/ and genaral parameters of the cabinet design.

Thanks

Thanks mustang guy. I'll post it on top of the tread. Also have to update it a little beat because it seams that some schemas didn't survived forum migration.

The AB3, AL4 & AK4 are very similar...

Here is a repost of Dean's AK4 schem from the other page if anyone wants to compare...

KG 5.5

may I ask why there are two pages? they look exactly alike, yet one is marked Page 2....

That is an anomaly from the conversion to the new forum software. I have seen 4 copies of the same image in old posts!

We could make a new one, and then have Amy delete this one. We need a clean one, and have it pinned.

What do you mean about that? Same schema on two pages or something else? If something is incorrect and it's my post I can try to correct it.

I'm trying to keep heritage or "almost heritage" schemas on top topics so I may have used some schemas published further.

I have a set of 301 Model 2's I USED to like before I heard good stuff, but I'm afraid I have become a tad jaded on the old 301's. I currently use mine for surround duty and I like the way the fit into the decor due to the low height, so they're not unusable. That's an 8" woofer in there (outside edge-to-edge). And there has GOT to be a better option than those cheap computer speaker style $1.00 tweeters.

What are you doing to mod your 301's?

I don't plan on doing anything with them other than where they are now, in the second garage running and old fm.

Here is the T-4000/5000 xover. Very similar to HII but uses 47 uf on woofer leg instead of 68 uf and 1 uf on mid versus 1.5uf on HII mid and the mid and tweeter polarities are switched.
