badbob
I have seen numerous posts on this BB regarding SPL meters. The best I can tell is the listener can take different 'readings' within a listening room and somehow tailor your receiver/amp settings to the measurements? What settings on the reciever/amp are adjusted? Thanks!
boa12
that would be the overall db levels for front, center, rear & sub w/ a basic 5.1 config. should be in your receiver's set up & called like level. don't confuse this with equalizer settings which imho are just for fine tuning listening preferences. ------------------ RF-3 (front), RC-3, Cornwall I (rear) Velodyne HGS-18 sub Monsterbass 400 sub cables & Monster Z-12 wire Sony de935 a/v receiver Sony DVP-C650D dvdp Sony Trinitron 27" tv Technics dual cassette deck Technics direct drive turntable Scientific Atlanta Explorer 2000 digital cable box rock on!
